Travel Inn Abilene

Nice and roomy and very comfy. Would stay again. Put tv on channel 3 then you can use the remote to change channels on the box. Plug in lamp to wall outlet. There were no disturbances of whatsoever. Nice frig and microwave and a small coffee pot. Very nice service. Would recommend to others.

If there were zeroes I would have given them to this dump. It looked liked a building that had been abandoned. I t was in a very questionable, deserted location and did not look safe. I ended up not even staying there but driving further to find an acceptable place. Travel services (like Expedia) should take it off there list.

No hot water, just lukewarm. Coffeemaker in room but no coffee. Deadbolt lock was render nonfunctional. Will say that the owner and his family were very nice and tried hard to accomodate but this place has a long way to go to be good

Drive over to the travel inn and see the filth and roaches. The red carpet is black. Holes in the curtains,bedspread,and carpet. Cigarette burns. And it was suppose to be a non smoking room but it was not. We did not stay after one night and one night was to much.

This is an older hotel. but the room was clean. Staff was gracious.There was was a bit of smoke ider when we first went in (cleaners smoking?). We just needed a place to sleep for the night and this was OK if you don't need anything more.
