Stayed over whilst travelling south to Oxford. Excellent value, building and rooms of a high standard with friendly owners. Would definetly stay again when in the area.

Excellent establishment, under new management. Stayed here for a week on business. Neil, Bill and the rest of their team made me feel very welcome and nothing was ever too much trouble. The food was fantastic and the service even better. Would highly recommend. A little gem just off the M40! Will stay again for sure...

Great Steak

Really great service ! Some nice features like iron, sky tv, good WiFi (40mb+) etc and breakfast was really lovely. Decor is a little dated, and ok yes I booked last minute but price was high for the quality - that said - it’s still a good stopover if you need a bed, clean shower and good food

I stay over on business in Banbury on a regular basis; occasionally a town centre location is appropriate but when it's not the Bowling Green is my first port of call. Phil and Karen always extend a warm welcome; the food choices and drink choices are excellent; I've never been disappointed. Rooms are fairly basic, but spacious and comfortable with good wifi and a Sky package which includes Sports. There is a private outdoors seating area which would benefit from a little refurbishment but is nevertheless a pleasant place to be on a summer day and adequately segregated from the family geese! As a home from home, I can thoroughly recommend.

I stay in Banbury for work on a regular basis; Phil and Karen are most welcoming and flexible hosts - good food from a varied and well priced menu and the availability of premium TV channels is pretty much unique in the area

Good value for money.

I stayed one night en route to a business appointment. The room had everything I needed, it was clean, had tea and coffee making facilities, the en suite was clean (I loved the shower).the linen was fresh and once again clean. My evening meal was, good home cooking, the vegetables were lovely and fresh. The breakfast (I had full English) was excellent and set me up for the day. the service was excellent, I would definitely recommend the hotel, if I am in the area I will stay there again Thanks.
