Very friendly staff and excellent rooms.

A very nice little place..lovely room..excellent breakfast and within a 20min walk to the sea and the town centre. Stayed here for two nights and i would definitly stay here again on my next trip.

Made to feel very welcome by Elaine and staff. Very friendly and helpful re transport around Torquay and places to visit. Will definitely make a return visit.

Owners very welcoming and helpful and were genuinely interested in our grandson’s ten pin bowling contest and over the moon that he came first. Lovely breakfast with plenty of choice and well presented. Rooms clean and comfortable. Very convenient location.

So clean and staff are accommodating. I always stay in hotels but the breakfast here is the best.

My husband and I had a great one night stay at Burleigh House. Good decor, bathroom facilities, clean, comfortable bed and linen and a delicious hot breakfast. It was a traditional bed and breakfast for a truly British experience. I had visited the Torquay area many times as a child and it was a dream come true to find a B&B of this good standard. You are welcomed with a friendly smile, pot of tea and a delicious piece of homemade cake. The owner is amiable and helpful without being intrusive. The hotel Is extremely comfotable with good bus and rail links. We will definitely be visiting again.

We stayed here for 2 nights, was a decent wt minute walk to the harbour, but a bus is available to bring you back up the hill to the b&b. Ok room, a bit small when you have luggage, but clean and nice bathroom. Host was very friendly, breakfast was ok.

Very welcoming on arrival with refreshments, we arrived two hours early but were still able to check-in. Excellent location for public transport which is cheap and reliable. The breakfast had plenty of choice and was freshly cooked good quality produce. The owners are lovely, I'd informed them about my son who has a disability and they were extremely kind, helpful and understanding, could not do enough to help. I would stay here again without a doubt.
