Hotel Le Grand Chalet Gstaad

I recently stayed one night at the chalet and had a great experience. The person working the front desk was very friendly and helpful. My room had a balcony with a beautiful view of Gstaad and the surrounding mountains, and it was reasonably priced, esp. given how high end Gstaad is. A nice breakfast was included. I also enjoyed the delicious welcome chocolates. Note that it's about a 15 minute uphill walk from town to the hotel, but they do offer shuttle service to/from town. They have a nice sauna/steam room area that is available that can be reserved for one hour private use. I had dinner in the hotel restaurant, which was good though pretty pricey. I would definitely recommend this chalet!

Very nice small hotel with outstanding views of the mountains and valley. I particularly liked the typical alpine ambience, the terrace and the good breakfast. Ideally located to explore Gstaad and surroundings. Nice place.

A wonderful experience on every level. Cozy, warm friendly ambiance. Professional, welcoming management. Superlative staff and one of the best restaurants in the region. Oh, and the unbeatable view! Highly recommend for all occasions.

Le Grand Chalet is a wonderful boutique hotel in the beautiful town of Gstaad. The property truly embodies what the town promises… ”Come Up Slow Down”. The views from the property are breathtaking & the location tranquil. The property is truly made special by its great professional, dedicated & wonderful team. Not to mention the excellent selection of food & wine at La Bagatelle, which in our opinion is the best restaurant in town. Having stayed at the property multiple times earlier, we returned in June 2022 for yet another wonderful stay. Each team member is wonderful, but thanks to Carole, Fabienne, Kristina, Martine, Charles, Patricia, Barbara, Margaux, Joris, Diana & Pedro who helped make our stay so special. The only regret was they could have organised better weather, given the heat wave across Europe. 😉

We stayed 2 nights there and enjoyed The Grand Chalet a lot. The location is 10 minutes walk out of the center and extremely quiet. The building has been refurbished and looks like new and offers most facilities of a high level hotel. The major positive point is however a truly wonderful, numerous and welcoming staff (This must be noted as it is unfortunately so often a weak point in the Swiss hospitality sector). The room was large enough and we appreciated the nice wooden floor but our only, relative, disappointment, was with its very basic furniture that looked a bit out of place in an otherwise nicely decorated house. Equipment was also minimal with no possibility to make coffee or tee in the room. This is a bit mean for a place that is all but cheap ! The hotel has a small but very nice spa, unfortunately they chose to install some fitness machines in the same room making the relaxation area minimalistic, in fact only 2 people at a time can enjoy it, which is a shame. Excellent wifi, free parking. All in all a good address

Die Atmosphäre war familiär, das Personal freundlich und aufgestellt, insbesondere am Empfang fühlte man sich herzlich willkommen. Die Lage ist ruhig, die Aussicht toll. Das Essen war eine Klasse für sich, das Degustationsmenü war köstlich.
