Good rooms.Quiet.Good dinner, which was quite a feat on a Sunday evening.Good breakfast. Very nice people running the hotel.V helpful.

Nice place and Quite pricey but charged a colleague £3 for a small towel to use the shower when he had just checked out of his room was the wrong thing to do

The property was in an ideal location.

Considering the cost of my room the view from my room was extremely poor with no views.

Very accommodating friendly staff. Nice quiet spa. The steak was really good although I think it would've been better with plain fries or chips.

The bar closed early on the Friday evening which was a shame.

The chef did not turn up for breakfast so there were very few cooked items on the menu. I had a refund as After waiting 15 minutes for the chef to arrive I no longer wished breakfast. To be fair the manageress refunded my breakfast from my bill I was put initially in a room directly above the gym. It was extremely noisy. I complained and was moved to a lovely room with a view. The leisure centre was very small and in need of decoration. The jacuzzi was too hot. What really annoyed me was the phone message I received later in the day from the manageress. Her exact words were "Mrs Smithyman what have you done with the keys of your room. I had given her the keys at the reception, but she was so, stressed by the chef not turning up (I gather this is not the first time this has happened) she probably misplaced them. I was so looking forward to my stay there and gutted by the events related above. I will not be returning there
