USThe complimentary breakfast in the adjacent cafe was very good, and included eggs, bacon, cheese, salad and more.
The accommodations here are more like a guest house than a hotel. The building is at a golf club, and seems like almost an afterthought. We booked the "small double room" and it was certainly small -- more suitable for one person than two, with a small bed against the wall. The location wasn't exactly scenic, and I think staying in the village might be more scenic. Curtains didn't block out the night time summer sun. The worst feature was the water: it smelled and tasted terrible, and seemEd to contain very high amounts of iron. It even stained our fingernails after showering. Bring drinking water with you if you stay.-- none was provided.
FRThe mattresses and pillows were OK. It was very peaceful and calm. We appreciated the fact that we could stay with our dog. We liked the cafe, it has a nice terrace with a beautiful view and the food was nice and well priced.
I found the configuration of the rooms very weird. When I booked the house, it did say that most rooms will have twin beds, however I expected them to be "next to each other" like in the pictures, but it was not the case at all. They were "perpendicular?" or far away without the option to put them next to each other. For couples this was not nice at all. I am very disappointed that there were no actual pictures of the house we booked as it looked nothing like the rest of the pictures here. The room that me and my husband ended up sleeping in (as we left the "nicer rooms" for our family that we had invited) was so small that we couldn't even keep an open carry on bag in there. I had to put my belongings in the corridor. I think that it's fine to offer different type of accommodation and this house would be perfectly fine for a family with children (though stairs were quite steep), or a group of friends, but It's not suitable for several couples. I would really have liked to be prepared for this as I was expecting something much nicer based on the other pictures.

LTРасположение на территории гольф клуба. Интересное место. Приятная атмосфера в гостинице, номера небольшие, но симпатичные. Вкусный завтрак.
Нам пришлось поторопиться с заселением, с ресепшена за несколько часов позвонили, сказали, что надо приехать до 20.00 - после ресепшен закрывается. Пришлось поторопиться и немного скорректировать планы, чтобы успеть к 20.00. Так что если приезжаете в Сигулду или Турайду - лучше сразу заселитесь, а потом езжайте смотреть окрестности.
