Very handy for Bank Quay railway station.

Very rundown, not a welcoming place. Smelt of stale cooking. Would not stay again

💯 brilliant best hotel in cheshire definitely recommend to everybody to go there and the best things is train to Warrington bank que Station and the hotel is straight in front of the station very friendly staff plus the bar opens at 5pm until 8pm brilliant comfortable beds lovely rooms i would definitely go there again and cheap

The bar looked okay but otherwise what we saw of property looked a bit run down. Never got to see the rooms as they had not processed our booking so despite having notified them the day before of our late arrival-no rooms or parking was available.

We enjoyed our stay here,the hotel is a little tired but the owner was funny and helpful. Breakfast was ok not full English but ok.

Did not stay receptionist rude and unhelpful no car parking available

This is a very old property and some of the furniture is very old. However, the bedding was clean and the bathroom was spotless so no complaints there. Staff i have come into contact with have been very friendly. There are signs everywhere saying no smoking but it still smells smoky to me.

i liked the friendly staff, the breakfast, the room, the location and the fish in the dining room.

Day 1. Hot water in the bathroom taps but not in shower. Cold shower at 6am. Reported to manager. Day 2. Hot water in bathroom taps - still none in shower. Strip wash at the sink at 6am. Reported. Returned in afternoon. Still no hot shower. Staff very helpful. Changed room. Day 3. No hot shower and no hot water in taps. No shower or shave. Checked out a day early very frustrated/angry.

i absolutely love this hotel and have stayed there four times in the past five months. first off, the owner / manager is so polite and professional. he is always welcoming and is there when i’ve checked in late at night, and he’s there in the morning helping with breakfast. he’s a good man. the rooms are always clean. spare pillows and blankets in the wardrobe. tea, coffee and biscuits in the room. wifi and full english breakfast included in the room price and the hotel is a 30 second walk from bank quay station and a five minute walk to the town centre. what else can i say ? i really rate this hotel.
