Very old! Window couldn‘t be opened!!! We had 38 degrees!!! No climate!!! very horrible
GBPerfect location for us, in a lovely village but not far from the motorway. Staff were all excellent, very friendly and helpful. We ate outside as it was a lovely evening and the food was great. Our room was very nice, but the mattress was a little soft for me. The en suite was a little dated and there was a bit of a musty smell but still functional. We loved the thoughtful touches like shortbread, a fan and a radio left playing classical music (good to try and drown out the road noise as we had the windows open on the front which overlooks the main road).
Unfortunately we were only provided with one set of bath/hand towels and despite requesting another set, some misunderstanding led to a second set of toiletries (which we didn't need/use) but no extra towels. We managed ok for one night though, and as we only noticed later there wasn't a chance to ask again or I'm sure it would've been sorted quickly.

USGBPrimarily chosen as I didn't want to drive into the centre of Winchester so this was an ideal location to catch the bus instead as the stops were immediately outside. Very helpful staff and the food was excellent. Lovely village location
My room was a little small but as I was on my own and only staying one night that was not an issue but it might feel too cramped if 2 people are sharing

IMCharming old style coaching inn with modern and clean facilities. Excellent food and very helpful staff team. Highly recommend, and have already booked to stay again in November.
