GBGBGBThe King's head is a charming country pub come country house type of place. Oldie Worldie but modern.Bedroom decor and nice touches were delightful with a lot of thoughtful care having gone into them.eg a Christmas tree in the room , a mock candle for chilled bath ambience.The food was very good although the choices were somewhat limited.The breakfast choices were good as was the full English breakfast. Hursley is a relatively sleepy village with just a church,butchers and general sores shop.
We stayed to go to the Cathedral Christmas Market.They had a few Christmas parties booked in which were noisy in the bedroom although were finished by 11pm.To be fair they did give us heads up about this before we went so we didn't mind The only other minor concern was we noticed a small family of ladybirds that were hiding jn the curtains that only seemed to appear when the lights were put on.Also you will hear some road traffic as it is on a main road but is only village numbers.

GBThe Pub itself is beautiful and homely, loads of parking and an open fire. It was clean tidy and a comfortable environment.
I can’t fault it but we only had 1 mug which was rectified
