Be Playa Hotel Boutique & Rooftop Bar - Adults Only

After a very long day, the bed was clean and comfy.

Beds were good. Clean. However, no hot water again. Water from the shower drains from wall into the bathroom.

Needs bathroom lights and a better shower head. Only warm water. Rooftop bar was beating until 4am.

The staff was very kind and helpful. The hot water situation could be better. I had a six day stay: two days the water was cold, two days it was luke warm, and the last two days it was much better, but not hot. The lights were off in the first floor hallway. Even though I reported it on the first night, they were never fixed. I also asked and was granted a room change due to a mold smell in my room.

I was very disapointed. I checked in, looked at the poor condition of the property and the dirty room , including the beds and knew I couldn't stay there. I most certainly couldn't have my girlfriend there. So I just took a shower - ha, no towels , and left and found another hotel. And, thet charged me an extra @ 35 dollars for absolutely nothing since I didn't even stay.

The only problem at the hotel was that even though I paid extra for an upgraded room with a jacuzzi, I couldn't use it because there was no hot water. Otherwise, I was satisfied, and the Be Playa hotel has been close to my heart for many years.

We booked this hotel for the jacuzzi tub and location. Location is ideal however we were there for 4 nights and had no hot water. Our room was nice and clean but the rooftop area around the pool was dirty and rundown. Absolutely a joke that this is advertised as a 4 star property.

Impressive photos, mediocre experience. I recommend looking at the reviews on other sites before staying here. The reviews on Hotels do not adequately represent the current property conditions and noise level. We were unable to sleep for our entire stay due to noise, either from the rooftop bar shaking the walls, or the surrounding hotel bars. The glass walls are beautiful, but do nothing to block noise. Everything is pretty rundown, moth eaten. No mattress cover and bottom sheet didn't cover.
