Well maintained clean guest house with free parking. Good quality breakfast and the owners were friendly, helpful interesting people with a great enthusiastic approach to their business.

Would have preferred a bigger room and quite a hilly long walk into the main part of Torquay. However the good standards there make up for it.

We have just returned after a 4 day break in Torquay. The Sandpiper our choice of guest house was excellent. Debbie & Denise our hosts were most welcoming and made us feel quite at ease nothing was too much trouble. The Sandpiper is in a quite location, our room was very nice and modern and the cleanliness of the guest house was extremely good. As for the breakfast it was first class and plentiful. We would certainly recommend the Sandpiper and intend to return ourselves in the future. In walking distance is Chelston Manor , defiantly worth a look

Debbie and Denise make you feel very welcome and relaxed. We chose the sandpiper as it's perfectly located with a short walk from the train station and the town. The Breakfasts are banging.....

The Sandpiper was a perfect base from which to explore Devon and Cornwall. The room was well equipped and comfortable and our host made us feel welcome and provided us with a wealth of information and ideas for day trips. Then there was the breakfast - a superb full English breakfast was served in a beautiful room. I highly recommend The Sandpiper as a perfect place to stay in Torquay.

Shower was difficult to regulate temperature- but possibly my incompetence (!) and I forgot to ask about it.

This is a lovely little hotel, close to the harbour, very well presented. The breakfasts were excellent, and the hosts were very friendly and helpful. Our room was a good size with everything we needed and very comfortable. We definitely recommend it.

This delightful guest house is ideally situated in Torquay. It's a return visit for us and it's been a home from home. Denise and Debbie are charming hosts and the breakfasts are scrumptious!
