"The best guest house in Torquay"

What a beautiful guest house. Fantastic location. Very clean and modern. Lots of extras to this place. Nice big lounge where you can sit. Nice tables to sit outside. Honesty bar which was very reasonable, you could take beer, wine, spirits, snacks and chocolates place money in dish on the side. Excellent breakfast with plenty of choice. Debbie and Denise were first class hosts. Very friendly and give us good information about area and where to visit. Car park front of house. Will definitely be booking again.

"3 night break"

Had a lovely stay at The Sandpiper yet again, we are always made to feel so welcome by Debbie & Denise. It is so clean & the breakfast is delicious. We fell really lucky as the weather has been gorgeous. Thankyou for a great 3 night stay & hopefully see you again next year 😁.

High quality breakfast with great choice of menu. All extremely well presented at the table. The Sandpiper Guest House is totally immaculate throughout and a class act to follow. Highly recommendable.

The room could have been slightly warmer overnight for my liking but not a problem.

"Sandpiper,Torquay honestly review"

A friendly warm welcome from Debbie and Denise awaits you at the Sandpiper. We stayed in a double en suite room to the front of the building which was very quite, nicely decorated, comfortable bed, tea/coffee tray and toiletries provided with the brilliant white, fluffy towels. Breakfast is pre-order the night before and there was plenty of choice, good quality and good portions. Extra tea/coffee and toast is also available, served with a smile and chat from your hosts. The Sandpioer is just a short stroll down to Torbay,shops,theatre, amusements and boat trips. You don't need to drive if you want a local restaurant from seafood, fish and chips, Beefeater and local pubs on the doorstep. We couldn't fault anything during our stay and will certainly be back. We would highly recommend the Sandpiper.
