Vijayshree Resort And Heritage Village

Spent two nights and three days in third week November 2015. Very friendly staff who go out of the way to make your stay pleasant and comfortable. Well maintained, spacious rooms. Well maintained property on the Hospet-Hampi Road. Good buffet breakfast and dinner spread on all the days we were there. It may be noted that the resort serves only vegetarian food and liquor is off limits! Overall, excellent value for money,recommended and will stay there again.

Bed bugs on the bed!! Bedspreads unclean. Hot water delivered through buckets, 40 minutes after it was asked for. Have to ask for resort car to visit the restaurant. Staff speaks only Marwari and Hindi, nothing else!!

nice hotel for one night. close to the entrance of Hampi. traditional dinner was a nice experience. If you are lucky they run some typical indian shows such as dance, cooking, puppet theatre etc. continental breakfast was ok, a bit unusual for western people.

During the night, rats ate my toileteries in the bathroom. When I discovered they'd eaten my toothbrush, toothpaste, soap and who knows what else, I asked to be moved, but the hotel refused! There were rat droppings all over the floor, yet they said there was no sign of rats and since it was a property in large, open grounds, it was all I could expect. I took everything of mine out of the bathroom for teh 2nd night, but rats still ate the hotel soap. I got no refund or apology of any kind. The hotel sits in the middle of a rotting, disgusting rubbish dump, where dead dogs lie festering and pigs are living amongst the trash. No wonder they have rats!

Hotel just below average - much hyped in South - but majority of lights were non functional. Dark rooms, bathrooms unclean - hot water problems in rooms- poor breakfast spreads and non functional room keys.

A great resort, all the more so for the price on offer. The ambience, lawns, Rajasthan theme are worth the money. The staff were courteous, however needed reminder to send a complimentary bottle of bottled water for instance, which doesn't do justice for the overall calibre on offer. The restaurant was good, clean. The place was good for a visit to Hampi. I would recommend the Heritage Villa for the price of Rs1500, as booked online, inspite of the shortcomings. However, I have to add that the Room 118 I stayed in, had half the electricity points defective (including the bathroom bulb) right from the time of booking. The remainder sustained a short circuit during my stay when an electric lawn mover was in operation in vicinity. Hope the maintenance staff invest in maintaining the electricity connections prior to handing over the rooms to guests.

It was a great experience in this resort and everyone in my family felt comfortable. Except taste of coffee other spreads in breakfast was good.

Schmutzige Bettwäsche, Unterbetten angeschmutzt, quietschende Obermatratzen, jede einzelne Springfeder fühlbar.Rauchmelder entfernt, Spiegel hängt schief, Jalousie hängt schief, abgeplatzter Lack an der Badtür, Dusche ziemlich angegammelt, Kein Wasserkocher, kein Föhn. Personal sehr zuvorkommend und hilfsbereit. Fehlinformation von Mitarbeitern wird von der Hotelleitung nicht kulant reguliert. 2 Sterne eindeutig zu viel!

We stayed here as we couldn't get anywhere in Hampi. It was still very close to the ruins of Hampi, we paid 200 rupees each way in a tuk tuk and only took 5 mins. The rooms were very clean, very spacious and very comfortable and very quiet this was a highlight. Sadly there was no in room wifi The staff were friendly, the breakfast could use some improving and run for longer hours we were woken up twice saying breakfast was about to close at 0900 when we were trying to sleep in. The grounds were spectacular and the food was very good and cheap, we would have liked to use the massage place but the prices were more then what we would pay in Sydney!!! Only negative is the wifi and the, repetitive music in the lobby! Very nice staff and worth staying at!

Staff was very good. Good Food. Our room(s) did not have hot water and we had to get buckets. No internet in the room.
