Sand Sea Resort

Had a great time at Sand Sea in the Sunrise Tropical Villa. It was the perfect space for my wife and I to feel comfortable and relax during our stay. The room was spacious with a nice large bathroom and patio for relaxing. We also appreciated that the resort provided plenty of pool space, amenities like beach towels, and the staff was incredibly friendly. Would highly recommend staying here if visiting Railay.

A wonderful stay in a double twin villa. We stayed in 1009 which is on the east side of the isthmus. It was spacious, the A/C worked great and plenty of outlets that accommodated American plugs. As a side sleeper, the beds were not to my liking - very firm. Shampoo, conditioner and shower gel provided. No wash cloth though, so bring a loofah. Excellent bath and face towel. Hot water kettle with a couple of tea bags and insta coffee. White sugar and powdered creamer provided. Two ceramic coffee cups that likely hold 8-10 oz of water. Our room came with the breakfast buffet which was very tasty. Take advantage of the one curry they'll have in the AM and mix it with scrambled eggs. Trust me. Coffee machine is strong! The airport transfer service is worth the price to save you having to think through the logistics. Depending on where the tide is when you arrive or leave, they make it very easy on you so that you don't need to traverse the long public dock. Our room was dated, and there was construction of a cafe that goes until mid June of 2025 right next to the busiest pool.

Lovely resort in Railay. Staff were always very helpful. Organised our transfer to the airport for us which was very efficient.

This is a beautiful location and wonderful hotel. We had a few things we didn’t like; they wouldn’t give us two keys for the room so my partner and I had to share the only key. When we checked in there was a mix up with our room and I’d say we received a down graded unit. We didn’t make a fuss as we were still overall happy!

The worst hotel experience in all Thailand I’ve ever experienced. I was waiting for more than two hours to be checked in, under the super hot weather, without any air conditioning. And during those time they did not allow me to chill by the pool! They just forgot about my presence. Second point, no towels in the room, every day I needed to call them and ask for the towels as they were always keep forgetting about it. The food on the breakfast was terrible! And Coffee is not drinkable at all.

We had an incredible stay at Hotel Sun and Sea in Railay Beach! The location is absolutely unbeatable - just a short walk from both Railay East and West, with stunning views and easy access to all the best spots in the area. The hotel itself is clean, comfortable, and well-equipped with all the facilities you need for a relaxing stay. The breakfast was good, with a nice variety to start the day off right.The drinks menu was great too, even though they don't serve alcohol on-site. That wasn't a problem at all since local shops nearby sell everything you might want. All in all, Hotel Sun and Sea offers amazing value, a perfect location, and warm, welcoming service. I'd definitely stay here again and recommend it to anyone visiting Railay!

Nice clean unit, very friendly staff. Really good clean beach. Interesting shopping area: bit alternative. Not a lot to do outside relaxing and swimming Only down side was the on and off smell of sewerage

We love Sand Sea Resort and Railay Beach! The staff were so helpful and went the extra mile to help us! If we are able to come back to Krabi we will stay here again for sure. The only drawback was no alcohol was served at the restaurant, but there were beach bars on both sides of the resort and they didn’t mind if we brought them back to the restaurant or the pool. Wonderful place to be and unforgettable beauty- plus monkeys and iguanas and little kitties roamed the property with no bother to the guests!
