Kiree Thara Boutique Resort

My husband and I loved this hotel. First of all it is located in the mountains and the view is spectacular. It is a bit far from the center of Chiang Mai and there is not much to do at the hotel in the evening, but it is very relaxing. The rooms were very clean and the staff is incredibly friendly. It was a great place to come back to every evening. Also, my husband and I were the only non-Asian tourists staying at the hotel which was a nice change. I would recommend this hotel.

The quality of service and staff was unbeatable. Truly exceptional resort. It had a great restaurant and swimming pool on site. It was a great break from the hussle and bussle of the city. the only downside is that if you wanted to travel to the city it needed to be arranged in advance and some of the local tuk- tuk and red taxi drivers did not know the location. All in all it is a perfect location to rest and relax but close enough you can still go to the city for the day with a little extra planning.

This Resort is only lacking a hot tub and good access to transportation. Taxi and Tuk Tuk drivers complained it was too far even though it was only fifteen minutes away from the Old City. However, if you are there for rest and relaxation and don't need any outside disturbances, this place is PERFECT!! Staff is phenomenal.

This place is incredible, every aspect of our stay was better than we could have hoped for. The location, because it's far from the city, was perfect! We were out in the countryside which was exactly what we were after, for a quiet stay away from any noise and pollution. The hotel can arrange transport anytime you would like to go into the town for as little as 150 Baht sometimes, and we always got a Tuk Tuk back for 200 Baht (we didn't barter too much on this, we were more than happy to pay $6 for the ride.) There are shops just a short walk down the lane from the hotel, and a coffee shop and some restaurants. There are some amazing bars just over the main road with no tourists because it's so far from downtown. We loved it! The service at this hotel was impeccable, the staff were all so friendly and so kind, they all went completely out of their way to make us feel happy and welcome. The Manager and his wife (and kids) even let us borrow some toys for our 2 year old to play with and they accommodated every request we had, they were all amazing always booking trips and arranging things for us. The food was fantastic, there was really no need to leave the hotel but we like to explore, and the choice on the menu meant there is by far enough to suit everyone. Overall, I just couldn't recommend this hotel enough, I'm so glad we chose to stay here, it was beautiful and perfect in every way.

The hotel and grounds are beautiful. The staff were very friendly and helpful. My only complaint about the place is the location, which is a little ways from the city center. Each way by taxi was about 200 baht, so with tip we were spending about $15 roundtrip each time we went into town. This can start to add up. The trade off of the location is that it has a very quiet, serene feel that I don't think you could get at the city center. Overall, my boyfriend and I loved it.
