Kiree Thara Boutique Resort

Very nice hotel but the location is not so good. Not many other restaurants near. In the hotel restaurant the staff was not very professional.

오랜 호텔을 리뉴얼 했으나 좋은 목재를 써서인지 매우 관리상태가 좋았고, 작은 수영장과 수영장 샤워시설, 예쁜 정원이 좋았고, 레스토랑 음식 솜씨도 전반적으로 뛰어났습니다. 음식은 매우 싱겁게 주는 편이어서 다소 간이 된걸 원하시는 분은 소스 활용을 하시길. 다만 시내와의 거리가 좀 되기 때문에 택시를 이용해야하는데 우버를 이용하면 150 ㅡ220바트면 가능합니다. 공항까지도 200바트 내외면 충분하니 참조하시기 바랍니다. 걸어서 10분 거리에 전시관이 매우 큰 것이 있는데 사람들이 조깅이나 자전거를 타곤합니다. 조용하고 깔끔하면서도 태국의 풍미를 느낄 수 있는 곳을 찾으시거나, 사이클링 ㅡ 주변이 산으로 둘러 쌓여있어 싸이클링이나 산악자전거 타는 서양인들이 많음 ㅡ 등 스포츠 원하시는 분들에게도 추천드립니다

This was our family's first visit to Chiang Mai and the Kiree Thara was recommended by friends. Overall it's a very quiet, secluded hotel away from the city center. We stayed in one of the family suites which worked for us. I'd say the hotel was a good value for the money, yet calling it a Resort is a bit of a stretch. A number of things for potential guests to be aware of though: Staff -- We found a majority of the front desk staff to be clueless. We've stayed at a number of resorts (some comparable in price) and in comparison, the front desk people left a lot to be desired. We encountered a general "take it or leave it" attitude to service here which was frustrating. Could've been a language barrier, but simple questions about maps/locations of nearby sites was like pulling teeth. Taxi issues -- The hotel offers a shuttle service which you can pay 300 Baht to be taken into the city. Issues arose when the hotel would order us taxis. The front desk staff wanted 300 baht prior to the taxis arrival then once the taxi appeared they paid the taxi driver directly much less than the 300 baht we handed the hotel staff. We wised up quickly to this scam (not sure if the hotel is making money here or if it's the front desk pocketing the money.) but it left a bad taste in our mouth. Suggestion: If they order you a taxi, insist on paying the driver yourself. Breakfast buffet -- The hotel offers a free buffet which is pretty weak. Their is an omelette station which is just ok. One positive though -- when we left on early excursions the hotel staff did box up yoghurt, fruit and croissants for us which came in handy. Overall. Was it horrible? No. Was it clean, functional and served our needs: Yes. Could it have been much better? Yes Would we recommend or come back? Probably not.

Hotel is located at remote area and about 20 miniutes of driving to Maya Lifestyle Shopping Mall. Partitioning of rooms is poor, so you can hear your neighbouring guests talking about. Glass on wall by the corridor make you have no privacy unless you shut up curtains. Anyway, staff are generally polite, friendly, efficient and very helpful, especially staff Gift, She offered great help for changing of room and solving problems in the first instance. If there was just a few hotel guests, only Asian, Continental and American styles of breakfast for your choice. And breakfast buffet is provided when sufficient guests in the hotel.

The hotel was beautiful. The gardens were immaculately cared for and the staff were very friendly and helpful. It was easy to organise cars or taxis to go where we needed to and they all arrived promptly. The food was very good and the breakfast buffet had a good selection of fruit, yoghurt, Thai and Asian food as well as eggs, bacon, toast etc. I would stay here again if I visited Chiang Mai. It was really good to come back to peace and tranquility after the night markets busy-ness!

we arrived to kireethara at the end of december, it was a bit far from the center but the hotel offers a shuttel twice a day for free, the staff is awesome, a special thank to lek the manager how was great, really helped us, she knows English very well, was very informent and we stayed there for 3 more nights than we plans. The room was clean and the shower was great, breakfast was nice, a bigger verity then other places in Thailand.

We like this hotel because it is away from the city center and have stayed there 3 times. It is small and quiet. Although it is showing signs of age, the executive deluxe room is a comfortable size. I also wished they could have taken note of our preferences as returning guests but that might have been expecting too much. The speed with which our requests were met made up for it and suggestions for improvements and little touches were noted down by Lek, their new Resident Manager. The heater broke down on one night but it was promptly repaired the next day. Likewise, a blown bulb. We had hoped for softer pillow choices but that was not available. Staff are generally polite, friendly, efficient and housekeeping of a good standard although the laundry service is contracted out and took more than a day to be returned. Lek, the front office and restaurant staff always have a smile for us and Sam, their other Manager, was friendly too. Mostly it is waking up to a Mountain View, fresh air and sounds of the cockerels crowing that have brought us back to this tiny resort. We were generally happy with our 12 nights stay here and I miss it already.

Its location is ok, quiet and with nice nature around, good views. takes a 10 min drive to the town/market. the hotel is very quiet, not sure I saw other people there in my stay, They have a nice cafe with good hot or iced coffee, good outdoor seating with a nice view. Rooms/toilets are a little old.

Ruhig gelegene Hotelanlage. Sehr engagiert Managerin, die bei allen Problemen sofort Abhilfe schafft. Teils etwas schwierige ommunikation mit Serviceangestellten. Anbindung an Innenstadt, Zoo und Nationalpark in 5-10 min mit Auto oder Roller problemlos möglich. Flughafentransfer vom Hotel aus hervorragend.
