Kiree Thara Boutique Resort

We booked for two beds, patio with mountain view. Our room was one bed, no patio, no view, it was below ground. very disappointed about that. we paid extra for the patio and mtn view but did not get it. there is also an extra charge a few days after we left for $58 don't know what that is for.

We were extremely unhappy with this place. It started with raw pork and eggs, when we asked her to cook it correctly they put it in the microwave. It was still mostly raw when given to us. Egg white was still raw as well. We looked past that. We were woken up at 1115pm to girls yelling and very loud techno music. We went to the bar thinking its fine we'll just have a drink. We were turned away and told it closed to guest an they rented it out to locals for a party.... At our resort we paid for .... We can't sit at the bar. The speakers were right under our room. I was very upset. Next day we ordered some food again hoping it out later be better, free breakfast is better than paying right....no there were mosquitoes in the dipping sauce ad my wife ordered chicken sausage ....it came to us as 3 hotdogs. No AC in the lobby and restaurant with doors wide open letting bugs in and they were mean too. My wife got tore up even wearing 95%deet. Still water pond 50ft from the entrance saw to that. Around the "resort" which it is not in any way, is just nasty. Out side the hotel walls were broke down hovels that reeked. Worst experience yet on our honeymoon. We checked out early called Expedia and they gave us a refund for a night and $100 credit. Oh and the beds were hard as rock. Place sucked. Do not stay there.

Nice quiet boutique hotel. A bit old and if you stay, recommend to stay upper floor. Overall, the staff is really friendly. If you want Thai food, I will recommend to try. Also, have western cuisine to try. Price might be a bit high, but tastes good. Breakfast included but not much of selection. Location is not far from the city, easy to find taxi. Or ask the hotel staff to call grab car or taxi for you.

The setting at Kiree Thara is fabulous - from the restaurant to the pool! A 10-minute Uber or taxi gets you to shopping and restaurants. The staff are friendly, attentive and professional. The only reason I rated it a 4 out of 5 is because the walls are thin. Loud noises in other rooms or next door kept me awake at times, but other than that, my stay was amazing. If you want to be off the beaten path, away from the city, at the foot of the hill near the jungle, this is your place.

I recently took my wife, mother and sister to Chiang Mai, Thailand and stayed at the lovely Kiree Thara resort. We found the service to be very friendly and of a high quality. The manager, Chan, was particularly helpful and personally assured all our requirements were met. The rooms were very clean, comfortable and spacious while the grounds were well maintained and gave a sense of peace and tranquillity. We loved Chiang Mai and cant wait to return and when we do we will definitely stay at Kiree Thara Resort.

My partner and I stayed for two nights and were very impressed. The hotel is about half an hour away from town however transport can be provided if you want to head into town or 300thb. It's very peaceful, the staff are friendly and attentive and the food is pretty good. Great pool, clean and large room, very affordable and nice views.

Slightly outside of Chiang Mai serenity can finally be found. The personnel will provide with service beyond anything you would expect.

The hotel manager was extremely helpful. He did everything he could to make our stay comfortable including booking excursions for us, paying for a taxi for one of them that didn't pick us up due to being outside the pick up area and he also dropped us off one night to the local town. The hotel was well kept and looked lovely. The rest of the staff were as helpful as possible but it was difficult at times due to the level of English they had. The room has little natural light due to the layout and the double bed were two singles pushed together which made it a little uncomfortable for a couple. The pool was a bit on the cold side and unfortunately the sun beds only got a few hours of sun due to their position and a big tree. The location was a bit further from the airport than the 10 minutes stated and you couldn't really walk anywhere but the hotel do offer bicycles to ride to the local shop and a shuttle bus to take you to the nearest town and all tuktuks and taxis will happily take you back there from Chiang Mai centre. The only negative for me was the food. Having been in Thailand for a couple of weeks and eaten in a lot of places, the food here in my opinion lacked quality and flavour. The breakfast options were also very limited if you liked more western style food.

Ganske fint hotel - igen til pengene (cirka 70-80 US$). Morgenmaden var fin, men ikke prangende. Værelset var tilpas. Sengen meget fin. Badeværelse fint. Selvom der ikke var balkon, kunne man bruge en fælles balkon for etagen. - Restauranten havde fin service, men med svingende madkvalitet. Vinen bliver opbevaret for varmt og havde taget skade. - Der var live-musik, men sangeren piano var ikke afstemt med øvrige musik fra cd, hvilket gav en pinagtig falskhed.
