Orsett Hall

We had a lovely stay here. Our room was lovely over looking the garden. Our breakfast was buffet style and had real sausages (not cheap ones). We used the spa fo back massages during our stay and both me and my partner were very happy. The spa is small but had a great relaxation room. We would definitely stay again.

We always really enjoy our time at orsett hall . Such a treat to use the spa and dinner is amazing every time .

Rest room could do with more beds for relaxation as only two. Half hour body scrub I felt was rushed, defiantly not half hour and had to apply own oil after a shower. Sauna and steam room enjoyable alongside pool area. Again, more relaxing seating would be appropriate for the experience as a whole. Restaurant was busy, service good. Only thing I could say is plates/condiments removed quickly. Again felt they needed the turn over to be fast when you have paid for a relaxing day.

The spa looks beautiful and the treatment I had was fabulous. However, for a spa of that calibre there were a few things that I wasn't happy with. Some only small but they make a diffrrence: Changing rooms: 1. empty conditioner bottle which you can't do anything about once in the shower! 2. No bags to put wet swimsuits in 3. Bin emptied but lid left on floor with no liner in it Relaxation room: 1.magazines and drinks in there but so dark you can't read them or see what drink you are choosing 2. Noise from swimming pool next door, you can hear people talking 3. Only two loungers, other chairs very uncomfortable 4. Doors bang every time someone comes in or goes out 5. Lady entered room after burning her foot in steam room. Hercand her friends had loud discussions about this whilst others trying to relax, receptionist came in with ice so more conversation, a manager came in and discussed the incident with the lady - all whilst others are trying to relax. Why not discuss outside where there are plenty of seating areas so as not to disturb others. The lady and hercfriend then proceeded to make themselves comfortable on the only two beds for the next two hours so no one else could use them Lunch - after a lovely treatment and swim, you feel relaxed and then have lunch in Picadilly Circus, with crowds of people, babies crying, children etc. The lunch choice was poor, service was slow, and then it took ages to find out if the sweet treat included was nut free despite the fact I had completed a form prior to the spa day. Very ill prepared and chaotic. Sadly, despite the fabulous treatment I was very disappointed.

I have travelled the world both for business, pleasure and golf trips. This little unknown gem does the most amazing fish n chips I have ever experienced in 30 years of business travel. I am not going to share my photo of this absolute delight & unique way of presenting this fabulous British classic, as this needs to be seen with virgin eyes, as it is absolutely brilliant. The portions are insane, so choose your starter wisely, as that in itself is so hard to say no to, and then you see the not so much of a starter portion. Honestly, the food in this old grand house would have Mr Ramsay struggling to find fault, but then I am no professional. 5* quality food without the ridiculous up end prices many establishments try to justify because they have a show on Amazon or other platforms (no finger pointing clearly)

The venue and accommodation were absolutely superb, providing everything necessary for a successful event. The staff were incredibly helpful, going above and beyond to ensure that all our needs were met effortlessly. Their professionalism and attention to detail truly made a significant difference.

The grounds were pretty

It was a long confusing walk to our suite. The water for the bathroom was cold I guess as it’s a long way from the boiler. The TV was wonky. No choice of suite we wanted the William and Mary room I guess. Messy walkway trays left outside rooms for our entire stay. Didn’t like having to walk through the spa area to access the lift to our suite. If I was a customer I wouldn’t like guests walking through with luggage.

Convenient location. Lovely room although very hot. Signs said don’t open windows. Nice big bed.

Too hot in the room. One pillow was incredibly lumpy.
