Luckily only had one thing of value in car as window smashed and stuff taken Hotel fine ,oldish, breakfast fine,beds fine

I stayed at this accommodation in May 2014. Though it is labelled as Hotel, it can be best desctibed as Bed and Breakfast. I found it convenient as It is at walkable distance from Mestre railway station and nearby a bus stop to go to Vencie (15 min travel). I did not need a taxi to reach the hotel. The beds and rooms were of some dusty smell when we entered the room. We had to keep the windows open to get that smell out. I was with my family with a 2 year old. Found the bathroom very irritating as it does have just a shower at the corner and if one baths, the entire bathroom including floor, walls is wet and getting my child bathed under that condition was disgusting. The hostess is good and offered her help in how to commute and also readily accepted to keep the luggage when we checked out for a while. Good stay but a bit pricey.

Overall, a good value compared to hotels in the heart of Venice. The train station is only 5 minute walk and then a 10 minute ride into Venice. It's a main train station so was great for going to Milan. The room was a little tired but didn't spend much time there. The only other drawback is there is not much for food near the hotel, just make sure you eat in Venice.

Good location for getting to the ferry and venice.

The hotel is at a good location, very close to Mestre train station. The facilities and cleanness was good. The staff was lovely and helpful. The continental breakfast and the coffee was nice. Parking was very convenient. I absolutely recommend for Venice trips.

I did not like Venice. It was dirty, crowded and everyone in the public transport services was rude and unknowledgable. But, this hotel was great. It was safe, clean, great customer service. The breakfast was good and the manager was the total opposite of the public service workers. She was great! Knowledgable, had helpful things to say and told us about the best ways to get back and forth. It was located a convienant distance from the train and buses.

Have stayed many times over the past years and will continue to do so. Very good facilities and so handy for airport and all public transport. Very safe area.

My partner & I spent 3 nights and had a very pleasant stay. The lady who runs the place was welcoming and explained all transport options upon arrival. She gave us useful maps and spoke good English, French and Italian. The hotel is close to Venice (15 min. bus ride, with buses every 10 min.) It’s also 5 minutes' walk from Mestre station where you can catch a shuttle bus to the airport (15-20 min. ride) and trains to cities in the region (Verona, Lake Garda, Milan etc.) Clean room, well equipped and maintained: good clean wet room, air con, TV + free wifi in the room, good blackout window shutters. Basic and inexpensive continental breakfast worth having before you set off exploring Venice. The only downsides: located in a residential suburb on Venice mainland with little to offer for going out/eating out etc. However we dined on Venice Island and came back to the hotel for sleeping only so this was OK for us, and the area was nice & quiet. We didn't experience noise from other rooms either. The double bed was made up of 2 single mattresses covered up with a double fitted sheet, which can be uncomfortable if you sleep in the middle, but we had the same thing in the 2 other hotels (including a 3 star) we stayed at in Venice and Lake Garda, so it might be quite standard for the area (?). Air con. a bit noisy when turned on. Overall good value, comfortable 2 star hotel, close to Venice and I would stay here again :)
