The room was spotlessly clean, bed was comfortable, only a 7 minute walk to Lidcombe train station would stay here again.
Allowed for a very early check in and contacted me to advise that elderly people staying with me had arrived arrived and settled in. Great customer service.
Ordinary motel in the middle of Sydney.
Good location, comfortable enough for short stays, couldn’t do anymore than a couple of days as we did
Convenient location. Heating did not work on reverse cycle a/c, the shower is in a room that is not in a bathroom so makes it very awkward to dry yourself and get dressed without exposing yourself to other occupants of the unit, mattresses need replacing.

Footy visit with daughter. Close to train station, and lidcombe catholic club. Basic, but clean and quiet.
A very basic motel, matched to the costs, it’s close to all amenities and public transport. Didn’t like that they don’t provide additional pillows, I like to sleep with 2, note to take our own next time!
I checked in at 2pm at "The Liberty Plains Motor Inn" at Lidcombe. I was greeted with the Indian/Sri Lankan male Manager who was stuffing his face at the Reception Desk. Not a good look, I should have followed my instinct and not proceeded, but I had already booked etc and was exhausted after travelling. I was given Room 3 initially but the Manager changed his mind and gave me Room 1, the Queen sized double room right next to the cleaners closet, I dont know why he placed me there. But anyway. The room was average & basic. There was a draft from under the front door & the bar fridge leaked. But I just wanted a bed to sleep in. The room did not block the noise of Olympic Drive so I woken up by traffic. I woke up at 9.50am and moved out at 10am and went to the reception desk. There was a sign "back in 5 minutes". I then walked back to the room. I saw the same Indian/ Sri Lankan Manager walking across the court yard. I told him I was leaving and he checked the room while I waited outside for 5 minutes. He then storms out of the room SCREAMING accusing of me smoking in the bathroom. I had not. Had just woken up so was not prepared to be screamed at & questioned like he was the Police speaking with a criminal. He continued screaming at me walking me back to reception. He continued to berate me which was humiliating especially at reception infront of staff. Needless to say he kept the $50 room bond. It clearly felt like a scam. SHOCKING!
