Liberty Plains Motor Inn

When we checked out the office was open but empty. Nobody would answer the bell and after 10 minutes I called the mobile number on the website. Some sleepy guy answered and told me to just leave the key on the desk.

The photo that was provided gave no indication of what we expected when we entered the room. Based on the picture provided, I did turn up with an additional teenage boy. The entire unit had one small double bed, and a single. When I asked at reception about the additional child, I was charged additional, but was told that they expected the 2 teen boys to sleep in the double bed, and I could take the single. The two 15 yo boys with me may be great mates but there was no way you can fit 2 boys who are 5' 10"+ in one double bed. Then the bathroom situation. There was a door on the toilet that did not shut properly. There was no door to the actual bathroom, just a frosted glass door on the shower. We ended up going to a nearby K-Mart and buying an inflatable mattress so we could all sleep in the same room. There were ants all over the floor, so we had to buy spray to get rid of that as well. Only one chair, no plates or bowls, or cutlery, so we bought disposable ones at a local Coles. They have a restaurant, but no hours of opening displayed, so we walked around to find a restaurant and ended up at the Lidcombe Catholic Club Bistro - that was the highlight of our stay.

the property was in a handy spot, could have stayed a little closer to the CBD, but within walking distance to Restaurants and train station as needed. Rooms need power points next to the Beds. Décor needs modernizing/updating. some work needs doing in the showers. .

Easily missed it on the highway and was hard to find where to enter, otherwise nice for the value

The room was clean the bed was just right and the front staff went out off there way to help

Staff were friendly and accommodating. Great location within walking distance to the train station and very quiet considering it’s on a main road. The rooms are basic but nice.

The rooms were basic but quite adequate for what we needed after the fire fight concert. All we needed was a comfortable bed and a hot shower. The room was clean and staff helpful & pleasant.

Close to Anz Stadium and Railway Station. Off Street Parking

We booked this property very cheaply online arrived very late in the night and checked in. The young guy behind the counter said we had received the wrong price and said it was going to be an extra $80 before agreeing to $60 extra... Very frustrating.
