Healesville Garden Accommodation

We were really looking forward to our Healesville stay, however we were in for a rude shock upon checking in. It was nothing like how it was featured in the photos, and at the point of booking, it didnt say anything about a shared bathroom. We were too tired from the long drive, so we decided to just stay the night BUT! it was a bad choice. The bathrooms looked terrible, with weird brown stains on the bath and sink. Water didnt go down the tap, and it was either freezing cold or super hot. Weird hair-like strands were floating up from the sink's trap. It was horrifying! To add, there was water dripping sound the whole night which made it hard to sleep. Please dont ever book this hotel!

They charge In excess of Melbourne CBD prices for a room with zero facilities apart from a TV screen. Not even a chair or table and you have to walk in a freezing corridor to get to the shared bathrooms and toilets. No sink or tea making facilities in the room. I had to ask for the central heating to be turned on at 1730 but there was no appreciable difference at 1930 so we had to go to bed to get warm. No electric blankets. I could go on and on but I am too disgusted.

Lovely room, very comfortable. Layout was a bit inconvenient with kids; no bathroom in room. Staff were lovely and helpful.

We stayed two nights, ate in one night. Absolutely loved the "feel" of the hotel, the staff and the "look" of the rooms. Lovely food at a good price. Clean and bright rooms, with a relaxing lounge and dining area (if you wish to bring your own breakfast). Walking distance to all in the main street of Healesville. Just excellent - would stay again.

Very clean and tidy room, could have added tea and coffee making facilities either in the room or on the floor.

Friendly welcome Lovely new refurbishment Only challenges were with the 2 remotes - the tv channel and volume buttons were reversed, and tricky to get the heater working so instructions on this would help going forward. All round a great stay

All the staffs there are really nice, I could tell, it's a nice place in the town centre

Staff were lovely, rooms were clean and welcoming, bathrooms were tidy and easily accessible. Had a very pleasant stay here, will come back again

The shared bathroom for 6 rooms was old, dilapidated ,rust stained; water was yellow from old plumbing - disgusting. Room small, had to hang clothes on hooks on the door. Never stay there again.
