Exterior looks very nice

Curtains with holes, linen yellowish, Carpets need cleaning, breakfast area very unorganized and not laid out , no tissue, just needs a good cleaning and fix up.

The manager was very helpful, ensured our stay in Mandan went well.

Dirty rooms, didn’t smell pleasant, loud highway noise, bed was worn out and loud. Manager tried to give me a different room than what I booked. Not enough towels for everyone. Overall just completely grossed out by how dirty the room was and it was non- refundable so we made the best of it.

As soon as we walked in, we saw many stains all over the carpet. Bathroom was clean & up to date. Our beds weren't comfortable, someonewdt their lunch in our fridge. Drive up to your room. At first I was worried about being so close to a busy road, but the owner called our room to make sure we knew the car. Idk anyone else who has done that. I felt safe staying there. You have a guardian angel looking over you <3

I appreciated that the owner/manager refunded my $150.

The room was the filthiest I’ve ever stayed in. The smell of cigarettes was in everything. The rug and chair cushions were stained filthy (see photos). There was long black hair attached to a used bar of soap in the tub. To top it off there were 3 bottles of Coors in the fridge. We’d started calling for motel rooms in the afternoon, but if there’s a sporting tournament or concert in Fargo, motels fill up early for miles. But, this motel had a 7.8 out of 10 rating! We were lucky to get a great room at midnight, we thought. Family or friends must be boosting the motel rating! We didn’t stay for breakfast. There were 2 little tables that sat 8 in the office/breakfast area. The only thing in the glass front fridge was an open gallon of milk. There were also off brand boxes of cereal on the counter. I asked the manager for a refund and he grudgingly agreed. He asked why I didn’t say something the night before. I’d walked partway to the office to see a “CLOSED” sign in the window and everything was dark. Turns out there was a 1/2” diameter buzzer I could’ve rung, but got discouraged when I saw the darkness. I’ve never left a bad review for a motel. I feel bad doing this, but I would never want anyone else to have to stay there. See photos, but you can’t get the full effect without the cigarette smell.

The clerk was pleasant and check in went smoothly.

The property seemed to be a residence for locals and not really comfortable for travellers. The card lock on our door would only open about 10% of the time.
