Bathroom sink not comfortable to use.

The bed was very comfortable. The morning breakfast that was a available was also excellent with a variety of options.

I booked through Expedia and I was told when I arrived that it would have been better to book through their site directly as I would have saved on the daily room rate. I was also told that as someone who booked on a 3rd party site, I was not considered priority to receive one of the better rooms. That did not make sense since I paid more. The room I received was musty. As soon as we opened the door, the musty smell hit us. There were scented plugins but it did not mask the musk smell well. You can also tell that the room was dated as the walls had empty areas where picture frames or mirrors might have been. The carpet was ripped up in different areas of the room. The TV was old. The sink area in the kitchenette had warped cabinets and countertop. The cabinet where the TV sat on also smelled like musk. I mean, as soon as you open a drawer or cabinet door, the smell just hit you; it was so strong. We were there while it rained. The hotel did not advertise that we would have a concert of frogs croaking all night. This let us know that the room was not sound proof at all. We could hear everything outside our room. The pool is nice but there are no lights available at night. The pool is advertised to close around 9 or 10pm. Why not turn on the lights in the pool area? We tried to find the light switch with no luck. Would I stay here again? No and that is just due to the property itself. It is dated and bordering as a motel rather than a hotel. The staff was great!

Location perfect near base

Cleanliness was ok, for what I paid and the name I expected better; as Holiday Inn is usually my go to place to stay. Couch was very worn, cushions very cracked and really wouldn't sit on it. Look up at the ceiling and smoke detector is gone! Only thing remaining was the base attached to the ceiling and wires hanging down. TV remote, well, what else is there to do in your room but watch TV and as small as it may seem, the remote had only a few buttons that worked. When you travel 10 hours to see a loved one in the Marines I at least want comfort........

Routine upkeep . Dead bolt on the door did not work. Ac unit very noisy had to turn off to sleep. Chair for desk are looks like it was totn up by a wild animal

Nice hotel with a good Mexican restaurant nearby!

The staff were very friendly and they had a decent sitting area outside the second floor elevator that was useful for getting some work done while my family was in the room.

It was run down and sloppy fixes in the bathroom made it feel dingy. The town itself was not an option for the purpose of our trip but was not a location I would choose willingly and will not stay in again. It didn’t feel unsafe but was what my husband would call an “armpit” town. We did not know the area and our daughter was doing training at the military base. Now that we are familiar with the area we would travel 15min closer to the beach where the area is much nicer.

Very outdated, barking dogs on 3rd floor all night long. Refrigerator was broken, tile shower shelves broken. Tv was from 25 yrs ago. Stained carpet, stained pull out bed.

At first glance the room, lobby, pool area were very nice. The breakfast was fulfilling. I appreciated the complimentary water bottles. The bed was lumpy, the AC was extremely loud, and there was a yappy dog.
