La Casa del Atrio

This place is awesome! Beautiful spaces, wonderful people and staff. Outstanding service. Very nice surroundings and very safe to walkaround. Very good restaurant next door (Tikua).

The place is beautiful and clean. The staff was great and kind to us at all times. It doesn’t have parking but there’s a public parking just 100 mt away and is not expensive

The staff were lovely and the vibe of the place is totally unique, eclectic and very calming. Just a lovely spot in a beautiful town with marvelous hospitality.

I have now stayed at the Atrio three times in the past 5 years. This was my first visit since Jan 2020 (just before the pandemic). The people, the location, and the service is outstanding (as always). I would stay here again for just those reasons. I do feel the this hotel might have suffered economically during the COVID years. The rooms are getting just a bit dated.

The staff is amazing. The are helpful, knowledgeable of the area, and very pleasant. The hotel is clean and has a lovely atmosphere. We didn't have time to take advantage of the spa... next time. The amenities were great with an ice machine, water, and snacks (you pay for) available 24/7. There is a cool museum and church across the street, a good restaurant next door, and a coffee shop across the street. Ours was an overnight stay, but we enjoyed it.

Absolutely amazing place to stay near the center of Queretaro. I've stayed here a couple times now for work trips and plan to continue staying at La Casa del Atrio each time I visit.

The location was great, a few minutes walk to the many squares and across the street from an art museum and a beautiful church. The hotel is beautifully decorated with unusual art and floral fabrics. The staff was great and there were lots of choices on the breakfast menu, including vegetarian options.

This hotel is in the historic part of the city and the common areas and rooms are unusual and artfully decorated. It is definitely a place to go if you are interested in an unusual experience. And the breakfasts are excellent.

The only thing that I didn't like was that my room has a big step in it to access the bathroom. I had to be careful in the dark to get to the bathroom at night.

Location and overall ambiance of the small 'boutique' hotel. Mini split worked great and kept the room very comfortable on very hot days. Bed was hard but comfortable, and we slept well.

1. No hot water for our entire stay. We reported it but nothing happened and no one seemed to care. They later said that it takes a few minutes, but we would let it run for 10 min with no hot water. 2. Really bad internet. We live in Mexico, so blaming it on what is available isn't really a good answer. 3. No windows. 4. Room had levels up and down into and around the bathroom. My husband is vision limited, so this was a safety issue. 5. TV worked about 50% of the time and was clearly on its last legs. We felt that the staff was annoyed by our requests to address these items (at least at checkout; others were kind) and made us feel like we were needy gringos. For the price, one should expect the items above. The hotel was nearly empty, and they could have moved us to a different room, but that was only on offer for more $$.

Great location, had character, excellent breakfast, friendly staff, lots of places to hang out other than your room
