Suryaa Villa - A City Centre Hotel

I stayed there for 4 times in last 2 months but this time I came across the reality of this hotel. My room's phone was not working and everytime I had to go down stairs for any trifle requirements. On sunday night I reached at my room around 11PM and came to know there was no drinking water in the jug. So, as usual I came down to reception just to ask them to have me jug of water. One man of about 45-50 years was sitting there. When I asked him to give me water.......his answer was ------- All staff have left....why dont you bring jug along if you want water ??????? WHO WOULD WISH STAY WHERE HOTEL STAFF DO NOT KNOW THE MEANING OF HOSPITALITY ?????????

The service from reception was a bit odd, but was all effective enough. The room was good, generally spotless, the bed comfortable, the bathroom fully functional and with hot water. The included breakfast was generous. Wifi was available and consistently working. The outdoor seating areas were lovely and the opportunity to eat outside in the restaurant was very welcome. We felt that the restaurant's dinner was very decent quality but really far too expensive for what it was. We asked if we could get bottled water for the room and were told we should buy it in the restaurant - suffice to say I'm not a bit fan of over-paying for water and paying a service charge on it! Loved the swimming pool. Anyway, generally we enjoyed our stay and would recommend it.

The rooms were clean and spacious. But service was horrible. We stayed there for 2 days and we were asked to to pay our dues even before we were ready to check out.

A very welcoming staff, quiet location, and the proprietors are incredibly helpful and friendly. I highly recommend this hotel.

Overall really nice place to stay. Staff helpful and all facilities you would need are available. Swimming pool for warm weather and air con in room. Rooms spacious, though shower did not operate very well, water was hot. Flat screen TV and hundreds of satellite channels available, telephone in room. Tours available and convenient. Restaurant was very expensive, we opted for included breakfast which was basic, though Paratha's were very tasty! Location is remote from the pink city but that is also a benefit as it was very quiet. Veranda nice for evenings. Overall would recommend but lots of competition in the local area for the price so shop around

We stayed here on 2 occasions at the start and the end of our trip. The rooms second time were much better than the first one. Overall it's a very centrally located both to old city and new city. If you have energy you can walk to city palace, bapu bazaar, johri bazaar etc. The only thing I would like the hotel to change is - give some hnagers to hang clothes and have gyesers in all rooms rather than only solar water heating especially during winters. The staff is very attentive. Food is average and somewhat high priced.

Ok room, decent breakfast and a nice terrace/pool area. Helpful staff. Good value. It's not a luxurious stay, but for the price I think its decent value. Close to the old city. And we used Rahul for a tuk tuk tour which I would highly recommend, organised by the hotel.

Most Pathetic Hotel i had ever stayed in my last 5 years ,staff was very rude & un-cooperative.The bed was doing sounds while sleeping.

There are no yoga lesson available in the hotel. The swimming pool is really mini.
