Ok. Property needs a lot of work.

The property itself was amazing! Very nice! The bed was a little firm and we found a couple hairs from someone else under the blankets on the bed. Would be 5 stars if not for the hair findings. We always inspect our bed before laying down so that part was disappointing. Overall though was very nice, quiet and definitely safe. I would recommend others to stay here

Had the best time for my honeymoon! Such a beautiful place. On thing that bothered us was all the mosquitoes. But we, we learned that it was a seasonal thing during this time in Florida. But overall, I definitely would visit again!

Photos make “resort” look beautiful. It’s a building with a handful of rooms, all together, like a duplex. It’s very dated. Air conditioning is a window unit. Rooms have an odor, probably due to the humidity. Lack of communication from “resort”, does not respond to email or text replies that they initially sent. Definitely not with the $. Did not stay after checking in.

We were excited for our stay at Azul Del Mar and chose it specifically because it’s a smaller resort—we wanted a peaceful, stress-free vacation. We had originally booked the Caribe room but were upgraded to Celeste, which was clean and cozy. We appreciated the little touches like the mini fridge, mini dishwasher, and Keurig with both coffee and decaf pods. The view was gorgeous, and the property has its own private beach with kayaks and paddle boards available to use for free, which was a huge plus. The resort is self check-in/out, so just keep in mind that staff may not always be on site if you have questions. The only downside was our last night. A guest in a first-floor room brought two dogs (even though the resort is not pet friendly), and they barked and whined from about 9pm until 2am. It kept us and other guests awake all night. My husband called the emergency line around 11pm and updated them as the barking went on. Though at first they insisted no dogs were on property—even though he could see them through the front door glass, they eventually gave us a refund for that night but it definitely put a damper on an otherwise relaxing trip. Overall, Azul Del Mar is a beautiful, peaceful spot to stay in Key Largo, but hopefully management will enforce their pet policy so all guests can enjoy the tranquility the resort is known for.

Overall the stay was nice. The room had AC in the seating area as well as in the bedroom and we changed out the de-humidifier a few times. It is the Keys after all! On our last night, some guests left two dogs in the room below us and they cried and barked for five hours from 9pm to 2am. I called the property emergency line to report the incident multiple times after losing many hours of sleep. I requested a refund for this evening but Management lied to me and said the dogs were somewhere else, even though I saw them with my own eyes in the room below us through a glass window so I could report them. Not impressed they would lie to me as an excuse to not issue a refund.

Incredible property, it’s beautiful, clean and safe! It’s a gem!! Everyone is so nice!!

Nice quiet place to stay. Great for couples, but really no amenities like big resorts. Kids would not like it. But if you want to chill it a great place to relax.

Nice little resort. Very clean and well appointed room with Keurig coffee and cans of soda complementary. Free kayaks & stand up paddleboards for guest use. Small beach where we walked in and snorkeled along the pier and saw lots of little fish...and a bunch of lobsters! We also enjoyed use of next door (Amoray Dive Resort) pool. Very responsive staff.
