Amazing property! Customer Service was outstanding. Rooms very clean. Would definitely stay there again!

Our stay at the Edelweiss Hotel exceeded our expectations. The hotel itself is charming and you totally get the family run vibe. Thomas was very attentive and helpful, as was Monica and the rest of the staff. We had our hikes planned but, made some changes based on their recommendations and they were spot on. I feel that their suggestions made our experiences even better. We had a balcony room with a delightful view. I highly recommend this establishment.

the receptionist(Monica and other gentleman)were great. also room condition was good but because of lack of AC everywhere in Switzerland was hot.

We had a beautiful time at Hotel Edelweiss in Wengen. Linda and Tomas were so welcoming and helpful. And the rest of the staff were lovely as well. Our room provided an incredible view and peaceful sleep. The breakfasts were delicious and hearty, fueling us for the day. We were sad to leave but hope to return one day.

Customer Service is superb! That’s the highlight of our stay in this wonderful hotel. Food is great as well and the accommodation is above average. My wife and I enjoyed every moment of stay. We’ll definitely comeback!

I stayed at Hotel Edelweiss from July 23 to 26 and had a very peaceful and pleasant experience.Everything was clean, functional, and thoughtfully managed. The room was quiet and comfortable, perfect for unwinding after a full day in the mountains. The team was kind and welcoming, which really added a warm touch to the stay. There’s a common area where guests can enjoy free coffee, tea, and water — a nice gesture even though these aren’t available in-room. The location is good, with lovely views and a calm atmosphere, though do keep in mind there’s a short but steep uphill walk (around 7 minutes) from the train station. Breakfast was modest but enough to start the day. Overall, a great choice if you’re looking for a clean, quiet, and budget-friendly base in Wengen. I appreciated the hospitality and would gladly return.

The staff makes this hotel unforgettable. We had the pleasure of getting to know Monica and Thomas which made it feel like we were visiting with friends. And Chef Matthias is incredible in the kitchen and we enjoyed our conversations. We would love to return!

Best staff we encountered, but the bathroom was tiny!!

Fantastic hotel in a great location. Located 5 minutes from the train station and great views of the valley. All the staff were all super friendly and a special mention for Thomas who helped me plan out my hikes each day and was so helpful. The hikes that Thomas recommended were amazing. Breakfast and dinner options all really nice. Next time I visit this area of Switzerland I’ll make sure to book this hotel again.
