Fantastic location and great balconies. Comfy bed, tight bathrooms but thatvis the euro style!

Adorable, rustic hotel nestled in one of the most beautiful places on the planet. Friendly and helpful staff go above and beyond.

This was an awesome stay. It was so close to train station. The hotel was clean and neat. The staff was amazing. They were so helpful with everything.

Thomas makes us want to come back again and again! The views were amazing, the hikes awe-inspiring and the staff just incredible. Feels like hanging out with people who like you. Loved the comfy bed and blankets, the small efficient bathroom and the quirky balcony set up. Loved everything! The meals they served were tasty too. Wouldn’t stay anywhere else if we travel to this region again.

I would give Edelweiss 1000 stars if that were an option. I almost hesitate to write this for fear of spoiling what feels like such a precious, tucked away gem. Tom and the staff are so knowledgeable about area hiking options and how to avoid crowded tourist points; the chef’s bbq was the BEST pork I’ve ever had in my life, and they turned me on to the DELICIOUS elderflower laced hugo spritz. Having Mannlichen as our “mountain” allowed for spectacularly beautiful and easy access to so many breathtaking hikes. Same with Wengen train station. I’m ashamed to admit I didn’t realize that I could take such beautiful walks just heading down the road (Staubbachbankli was a favorite!) The hotel and town are so special, it felt like snow white would be in the cottage next store. With Tomas and the staff, the beauty of the village, the ease of access to so many trails, Wengen was the best home base ever. I explored Grindewald, Murren, Gimmewald, Lauterbrunnen, Interlaken, and all the surrounding mountains and attractions - and while they were all truly lovely and beautiful, I felt SO LUCKY that at the end of each day I got to come home to what felt like my private paradise of Hotel Edelweiss and Wengen - which was somehow more beautiful and special than every where else in that marvelous Jungfrau region.

The property has a very homey feel and the owners are really friendly and accommodating. Monica is very friendly and helpful. Thomas I think one of the owner takes time to chat with the guest and makes them feel more welcome.

We had a wonderful stay in Hotel Edelweiss. The hosts were very welcoming and the staff were all friendly. The hotel and it's surroundings are beautiful and our room had everything we needed and was clean. We didn't have a balcony but there were plenty of seating areas outside. Breakfast was amazing with good choice. The hotel was easy to find and only 5 mins from the station; although it's an uphill walk to the station, I think that would be unavoidable wherever you were staying in Wengen! Thank you for a lovely holiday, we would highly recommend Hotel Edelweiss.

We absolutely loved Edelweiss!!! The staff was so kind and accommodating. The view from our room was so beautiful and peaceful. There is a great little park for the kiddos which is so convenient if you have younger ones. This place also has a nice deck to relax and enjoy the quietness of this village. We did not want to leave and will be back!

The hotel exceeded our expectations from check in to the moment we left. The location is so beautiful and peaceful yet a short walk to the main street. The room was clean and there was adequate space for our family of 4. The breakfast was good and we dined twice at the restaurant. The food was delicious and prices reasonable. The staff was very friendly and attentive throughout our stay. Everything was stellar! Thank you Hotel Edelweiss for providing a memorable stay for our family. We will definitely stay again if we come back to Wengen.
