Had a lovely anniversary party with friends in the bar. Gorgeous hotel, stylish and great food and drinks. Service was exemplary, especially from the bartender.

Breakfast was excellent and healthy, it included green juice and smoothies. Bar is fun in the evening and they make a great negroni

Had a lovely stay at Bingham Riverhouse for our wedding in July. We stayed in the baudeleire room - beautiful views, bathtub and room with everything you need. Such a comfortable bed and we got breakfast brought up to us. Our wedding went so smoothly thanks to the incredibly efficient and welcoming staff - particularly Amy our wedding coordinator for looking after us from the very start of organising our wedding to post wedding queries, she answered every little question and thought about everything. She helped us feel at ease and excited for the day. The food at the venue was delicious - one of the highlights for the guests. Everything was laid out in the way we asked, they decorated the cheese tower we bought, sorted out our table decorations and made the ceremony look beautiful, which they also accommodated outside despite the drizzle. We had a lovely team looking after us the whole day especially Sohail who checked in with us on the day when weather caused a couple of challenges. Food was kept to one side for us during photos, our decorations were tidied and kept safely after the day so we could easily collect these and guests were looked after. We could not have wished for a better wedding and experience.

A group of friends and I went here for birthday drinks, and it was a wonderful experience from start to finish. The decor was stylish and the riverside view made it feel extra special. The staff were attentive and welcoming throughout the evening, making sure we had everything we needed. The wine and cocktails were absolutely amazing, great selection and beautifully made. Special thanks to Ricardo and Charles for your outstanding hospitality — you really made our night memorable. Highly recommend for a special occasion or a relaxed night out!

Under the talented hand of award-winning Executive Chef Vanessa Marx, each dish is thoughtfully curated, bursting with flavour, and presented with impeccable plating. The menu is a true celebration of refined yet soulful cooking. A special mention must go to Sommelier Lukas, whose expert wine selections elevated our 25th wedding anniversary lunch with friends and family. His thoughtful guidance helped us choose the perfect wines — a choice we were most grateful for. The bar is equally delightful, offering expertly crafted cocktails and a stylish space ideal for pre-dinner drinks. Breakfast the next morning was a feast — an abundant continental spread alongside made-to-order hot dishes with eggs just the way you like them. The rooms are spacious, beautifully appointed, and exude quiet luxury. From the plush, oversized beds to the stylish décor and practical touches (like conveniently placed plug points and quality amenities), everything has been considered to ensure a supremely comfortable stay. My husband and I spent three nights here in June. We were enticed by the photos of the beautiful river views, as well as the nice soaking tub. We booked one of the "best rooms" with a copper tub and nice views. The view was nice and the tub was relaxing, but.... We did NOT have a pleasant stay. I do believe it was clean, so I can't say it was "terrible." When we first walked in, no one was at the "check in desk." I kept peering around random rooms trying to find a human. NOTE: I also noticed that the stairs up to the rooms, the entry, and the hallways were VERY dark. Now, my family and friends tease me for liking dark cozy spaces. I like to set the lights in my house like a cave I am told. However, this was so dark and the stairs were so dark and older, that for the entire stay, we kept tripping/almost falling venturing up or down. Finally someone came out and greeted us kindly, after they say me nibbing into other rooms. This person was joined by a second. There seemed to be confusion as to how to check us in on the computer and run our card. They had me take a photo of our bill because they had a problem with charges/cards I was told. After that, I will admit one of check-in persons insisted on carrying our heavy luggage up the stairs. Both people showed us our room. It went downhill from here. The hotel is EXTREMELY loud. There is a restaurant in the hotel that stays open late with an outdoor terrace. If you stay here when it is warm and have a window looking out at the river you will be shocked out how loud it is (with windows closed). Also, anyone in the rooms around you, walking in the halls, or on the stairs will be heard throughout the night (coughs, talking, footsteps, running water, opening cabinets, etc.). We go to bed late (well after midnight), but we were shocked by how late people were up. There is also a late night bar in the hotel, so that probably adds to it. The hotel also hosts events/parties that seem to run late. We never got more than a couple hours sleep (we even played sleep sounds on our phones and tried noise cancelling headphones). The fridge in our room actually heated drinks. The fridge was warmer than the temperature of the room. The scent of the toiletries made us nauseous. The tub was in the "bedroom" in a nook, but only offered a small table to sit your toiletries. It was difficult to reach things without injuring oneself. There also weren't towel racks around it, so I had to lay towels over the side to dry. The TV never worked correctly. When we tried to watch any channel, it was extremely slow to flip to it and then ever few minutes it would just go black/turn to snow. The breakfast was TERRIBLE. The "buffet" has a few stale pastries, meager bread selection, a few cheeses, and yogurts. Nothing was high quality. They do offer a "hot breakfast' as well that you can order from a menu. My husband and I tried different dishes and all of them came out bland and/or with weird textures, tastes, etc. The scrambled eggs were the worst I have ever tasted. I ordered hot chocolate and it was basically a large volume of foamed milk with no taste of chocolate. The next day I requested extra chocolate with the same result. It was also all foam. I ended up eating nothing and my husband turned to choking down a yogurt or something equally small and tasteless. The location isn't that handy if you are venturing deep into town; however I will say there is a handy bus stop that is very close. There are some good restaurants, not too far, but again, don't expect to be right in the heart of the bulk of the businesses/restaurants. We ironically chose to be farther out for some peace and quiet with the river views. We did not get that at all! As I said, I believe the place is clean, but you probably won't get good sleep, a good breakfast, and might not have amenities that work properly.

An ideal venue for our small team! Everything about this place and the service provided by it's team lends itself to productivity and creativity. Leaving space to enjoy a wellness class with Shanti and plenty of opportunities to enjoy the amazing food makes it the perfect away day!

We had a lovely evening at this restaurant. We really enjoyed the ambiance, the terrace, our food and the staff were very friendly. The only negative comment is that my husband felt the menu was a little too limited.
