"A wonderful wedding!"

10.0

We are both so incredibly grateful for all the hard work and care that Laure and her lovely team put into our day. Their patience and support throughout the planning was incredible and it resulted in a perfect wedding day which we will treasure forever. From our first visit to the big day every member of staff we met or spoke to made us feel so welcome and special. All our guests loved the venue and had a great time. We couldn’t be more thankful!

"Good location and tasty food"

10.0

I stayed here recently and was really impressed with this hidden gem of a hotel. The food was delicious, the beds were so comfortable and the proximity to the river meant not only great views but easy access to walk along the riverside in Richmond. Staff were very friendly and helpful and even knocked on our door to check if there was anything else they could get us. There are some wellness facilities that my partner and I did not have enough time to experience but we both agreed we would return in future. Many thanks to Amy and the staff for their assistance.

"Lovely stay"

10.0

I checked in last week for a one night, celebrating my partner’s birthday. We had a very enjoyable stay. We stayed in the Sappho room which had a great view of the river, a spacious bathroom and a gorgeous copper bath. The bed was honestly one of the most comfortable I have experienced in my many hotel stays. The room was also ready ahead of time which meant we could check in straight away - although not a given it was much appreciated. In the evening we had a delicious cocktail each followed by a very tasty 3-course meal. The breakfast the following morning was equally as good and enjoyed in the same parlour room space. Staff were very attentive and helpful. Would absolutely return to the Bingham.

"Lovely short stay"

10.0

We had a short stay only one night as a treat for my daughter but from the moment I got there the welcome was lovely. Sabrina was very friendly and helpful and had great energy. I booked on hotel website and got a cosy room with breakfast included but we had a lovely room overlooking the Thames…. Bonus . Room was lovely and clean and bed very comfortable. Air con made a bit of a noise when taking in water ( sounded a bit like a coffeee machine every few mins) but nothing that stopped a good nights sleep. Breakfast was yummy and we had a cooked breakfast which was perfectly portioned . Would I stay there again…. Absolutely. Staff were all very polite and helpful.

"A willow, a copper tub, and a weekend worth swooning over"

10.0

Well sugars, Roger and I decided to “visit Europe.” Yes, the whole damn thing. Imagine my surprise when it turns out Europe begins and ends in Richmond - not the barbecue one, mind you, but this leafy English suburb where the main attraction is a river you can’t even spell after two martinis. Check-in was slick, though I’ll admit I heard very little of it because I was hypnotised by the receptionist’s hair. Glossy, bouncy, not a strand out of place. That man could run for mayor on his blow-dry alone. I need his salon’s number - not that Roger would notice; the poor man hasn’t had an actual hairline since Clinton’s first term. Then the room. A copper bathtub shoved dramatically under the window, staring out at the river as though it were the star of its own perfume commercial. And the willow tree - enormous, swooping, draped like the world’s most theatrical widow at a funeral. Just as I was admiring it, a bright green bird - not a parrot, apparently a “parakeet” - landed in it. I gasped. Roger blinked. Between the two of us, only one of us was alive in that moment. Décor notes: they’ve clearly gone shopping in the “eclectic spiritualist” aisle. A random slab of citrine perched on a table, as if it might realign my chakras between cocktails. And the mountain of decorative pillows? Honestly. By the time I’d flung them all to the floor I’d broken a sweat. But I’ll forgive them because once we reached the mattress, the bed bounce was superb. Consider it tried, tested, and certified by me personally. Roger contributed in his usual way: silently, dutifully, without distinction. Dinner came with a waiter so unnervingly chipper I muttered, “I’ll have whatever he’s on.” He chirped at me about the hotel mantra - “Go with the flow.” Darling, I’ve been making Roger “go with the flow” for thirty years; it’s called marriage. The poor man gave up resistance sometime around 2003. The sleep? Immaculate. The willow hushed me to sleep, the bed cradled me, and for one glorious night I forgot I had a husband snoring three feet away. The only jolt came from the shower gel, which I swear had arsenic in it. Either the Bingham is moonlighting as a government lab or they just enjoy torturing their guests. Still, it left me radiant, so keep at it, sweethearts. (Though one does wonder how they actually clean that copper tub - exorcism? Fire hose?) Breakfast the next morning was almost a marital exposé. Roger ordered poached eggs with mushrooms and spinach on toast with a white Americano - so beige, so safe, the very embodiment of his personality. I, meanwhile, had avocado, hummus and chilli on toast with a white Americano and oat milk - bright, modern, with a kick, which is to say everything Roger is not. Checkout was brisk and polite, though I nearly asked if they’d consider keeping Roger. The willow looked heartbroken as we left, probably hoping I’d climb in and live there instead. Final word? If you want romance with a side of poison, a crystal that thinks it’s curing cancer, and a bed that will survive the apocalypse, the Bingham Riverhouse is your destination. And as for Roger - let’s just say the poor man was more shaken than stirred, which is more than he’s managed in years.

"Incredible Corporate Event at the Bingham"

10.0

We had our team corporate event at the Bingham, with a BBQ, lots of drinks and outdoor games. I can't tell you how special this event was. Amy and Emma were brilliant with all the pre-event arrangements and detail. Sohail and the team were fantastic on the day, they worked really hard, nothing was too much trouble and went above and beyond to cater to all our requirements. The setting was perfect for a relaxing fun team day out and everyone commented how wonderful the setting was and they really enjoyed themselves. Great view of the river, very peaceful, lots of space in the garden and seating options. The BBQ food was plentiful and ready right on time. Plus we were blessed with sunshine which made the setting even more special. THANK YOU so much to the whole team and would love to visit again soon!! :)
