Even after informing the hotel this was our honeymoon night, they were oblivious and not bothered. We booked the cosy room, even though we knew it would be small, the room size is so ridiculous and we both cracked our heads on the eves. Do not book this room for the price. We had used this hotel in the past but it has a very different feel under new management. We went to the bar for a cocktail when we arrived but waited so long decided to give up and go to our cosy rabbit hutch. Not the best ending after an incredible day. Could not recommend to anyone and we are locals.

We got married at the Bingham Riverhouse in Richmond on the 18th of October and couldn’t have wished for a more perfect day. We chose the winter wedding package, and everything from start to finish was beautifully organised. Laure was absolutely wonderful – calm, patient, and so responsive throughout the whole planning process. She explained everything clearly, gave fantastic advice, and it was lovely to have her there on the day with her calm, kind and reassuring manner. The venue looked stunning, with the room very professionally set up and the riverside location providing a beautiful backdrop. The food was exceptional – so many of our guests commented on how delicious it was and how smoothly the whole day ran. The fire pit, hot chocolate, and mulled wine were the perfect added touches for an autumn wedding. A huge thank you to Laure, Sherry, and the entire team at the Bingham Riverhouse for making our wedding day so special. Everything was flawless, and we’ll remember the day for years to come. We stayed for a night for our 5th anniversary, and it was perfect. The staff are so lovely, attentive and friendly. Room was beautiful, with a great view of the river. Will 100% be back again.

I cannot recommend this hotel enough! It is right on the river and has a back gate with river access so you can walk along the river to town. It makes the walk to town so charming and magical. The rooms are incredible. They use actual down in the bedding and actual cotton! No plastic sheets! I slept so well and had almost no jet lag. Their copper bathtubs are something I will think about for the rest of my life. Breakfast overlooking the river is lovely. Yoga in the back garden is such a treat!

We had a lovely time at Bingham! We came for our anniversary/birthday, and everyone was so sweet and attentive. The location is perfect and food was delicious. Will definitely be coming back!
