Ein Ort wie eine Filmkulisse von den Flintstones. Traumhaft gelegen und grandios umgesetzt bis ins Detail. Wir wurden herzlich empfangen und das gesamte Personal war stets herzlich und zuvorkommend, vom Guide bis zum Kellner. Sehr gutes Restaurant mit diversen Sitzmöglichkeiten. Die Nachtsafari und die Reptilien Tour waren beide einzigartig und haben uns begeistert. Wir wären gerne ein paar Tage länger geblieben.

Minimale Kritik; da die Türen der Höhlenzimmer etwas undicht sind (wahrscheinlich klimabedingt) hatten wir Ameisen im Zimmer. Man sollte also Essen und Getränke nicht offen rumstehen lassen.

Meals in general were average. Swimming pool was reasonable at the caves but excellent at the self catering cottages. Staff were very good.

Tiny rooms [cave suites] with no chairs, lacked any comfort and space and place to put anything down. Extremely small patio could not be used from noon until early evening because of the direct sun. Staff were very good but appeared to lack real knowledge with regard to the nature of the area?. This is not a cheap venue and all options, nature drives etc, carry a not inconsiderable extra charge when you get there. Not worth the money.

Our cave suite was beautiful and the lodge’s location among the rock formations was truly unique. The food and service were outstanding. The sunset drive became the highlight of our stay, made all the more memorable by our knowledgeable and enthusiastic guide.

We loved everything about this property!

Amazing surroundings and location. Unique experience living in a “cave”. Great staff and food.

Rooms are a bit dated, would benefit from some renovation. Accommodation is expensive for what you get as everything else is an added cost. Price point probably aimed at foreigners - but expensive for most South Africans.
