"Stunningly Beautiful Kagga Kamma Nature Reserve"

The location of Kagga Kamma is what draws you in, it's a pristine piece of wilderness with amazing rock formations a smattering of wildlife, super cool 4wd tracks and hiking trails. The other exceptional thing about Kagga Kamma is the service, the waiters are all very attentive and assigned to you for your stay, so they remember what you like and are super friendly. The food was all delicious and the bar area was very cute.

There was only a small disappointment in realising the rooms weren't actually a cave, it's just a fiberglass hut painted to look like rock. Durrr of course not, I felt a bit silly for thinking it would be after I realised! They sit in rows in front of the the actual rocks and they are quite close together, quite small but still comfortable, so once the intial 'oh' moment passed, it was back to enjoying the beautiful surroundings. Also, just to note, the wifi is only in the restaurant, not the rooms. But you're supposed to be escaping all that...

A spectacular location with a unique setting set into the rocky cliffs. It is quite a drive but worth it. It is so remote that they offer astronomy sessions at night to see the stars (however we were not able to do this as it was a full moon and quite bright). The views are stunning and the rooms are incrdibly comfortable and cozy.

Ein top Aufenthalt, der viel zu schnell vorbei gegangen ist. Das nächste Mal plane ich mehr Zeit ein. Es ist ideal, um abzuschalten, runter zu kommen, die Abgeschiedenheit und Natur zu genießen. Super Service, traumhafte location, ausgezeichnete Küche, einfach nur wow!

Die Anreise zieht sich wirklich, 30km unbefestigte Straße sind nicht jedermanns Sache, aber nach der Ankunft wird man dann mit dem Paradies entschädigt!

De weg erheen is moordend.50 km onverharde weg.ga met volle tank erheen want het is een godverlaten gebied.
