Hotel Riu Plaza Panama

I absolutely loved the hotel. First, the lobby was picture-perfect. The front desk team understood English, which I really appreciated, and they were invaluable. The room was clean and the bed extremely comfortable. Requests through the front desk were responded to very promptly. The view from my room on the 16th floor was fabulous, and one of my favorite spots was the gym. I will definitely come back next year,

Holidays weekend getaway with friends and coworkers it was an amazing experience the rooms was clean and not to mention to food at breakfast it was so good

Mildew odor, mattresses a bit uncomfortable, carpet in rooms stained, window needed to be replaced. Toilet old and didn’t flush well.

From I walked in the door I was in awe. We were greeted by Edison who was very friendly and professional. The hotel was clean, the check-in process was smooth and the staff was very friendly.

The place was really nice and comfortable. I would suggest having the hallway carpets cleared or changed . Smelled very mildewy and the showers had mold growth .. but still very clean overall. Good options need more verity but was good as well . I would recommend it. Location was everything literally mins away from the food places and excursions that we booked .

I had an incredible day. The cost is quite affordable and it is consumable in the pool restaurant. Room not included. It cost me 32 dollars.

It was a wonderful trip but room need to be vacuumed or use baking soda on carpets it was very stuffy but it was still wonderful

We had a wonderful stay with a beautiful room with a great view, amazing breakfast butfet and friendly staff. Would definitely recommend!

The hotel is located at a top-spot! The breakfast is very good! The staff is not 5 star qualified. The staff is rude, don’t know the Riu etiquettes and screams to loyal customers. The only friendly staffmember is the older pool attendant. Expect that the staff will say: ‘qué’ and looks ‘boring’ to you. We had a late check out, this was confirmed. The frontdesk employee called to our room and screamed + disrespected my wife, because the employee didn’t looked correct in the system about the late check out. After I took over de call she disconnected the call. Expect this experience at the whole hotel. From check in, dinner till check out! Only focus is asking for tips! At all Riu hotels we visited, we never got disrespected and received rude comments from the staff! For Riu class members: even the upgrade (diamond) is available, they will not give you your Diamond benefits. Because they seems to not care the Riu brand and the Riu standards. Advice: book this hotel, enjoy the top location and visit the topspots of Panama. Just be prepared for the service and you still will enjoy your holiday.

I enjoyed my stay at the plaza. Was very appealing to the eyes, food was great and overall experience for my first time in Panama was awesome.
