PP Sand Sea View Resort

The photos are deceiving...we though we were booking a bungalow on the beach for our family of 4 but instead we could only stay in the 2 story hotel in the back of the property with a room that had 4 beds lined up. This was by far our most expensive accommodation and we didn’t mind paying when we thought it was for a bungalow on the beach. It is nice to be a 2 min walk to beach and this side of the island is the best for family or away from party scene. The front desk girl doesn’t get off her phone the entire time of our stay. Even during check in she continued to talk to someone on speaker phone. No one comes to clean room and you have to go ask speaker phone lady for more toilet paper daily. Don’t stay here. The other hotels next door looked way way better. Definitely had hotel envy! Every other place in Thailand that we stayed was amazing.

The place looked nothing like the pictures! The washroom was not clean at all Very small room just enough space for the bed and very little walking space

It was average hotel but very well located, staff was not really helpful we spend couple of nights there and it was good and quiet away from the crazy parties in the other side.

Perfect location right on the beach. Minimal amenities but you get what you pay for. It did have a fridge, safe and was a 10min walk from the main bars.

We were supposed to stay in 5 beds room, but since only 3 of us came, we tried to request a front beach bungalow. Despite the language barrier, we were upgraded to the front beach bungalow which was awesome. They provided the extra bed at no extra cost. Thank you.

Very basic small room but clean and good location

Me and my fiancé stayed here for two nights and once we arrived to our there was a really bad smell in the bathroom. I complained to staff about the smell and they sprayed air freshener. The air freshner did not work the bathroom still smelled very bad idk if it's the plumbing but the smell was aweful. The cleanliness of the bathroom was disappointing I did want to use their sink or toilet. They need to clean the sink because that was dirty especially the faucet. There was technically no shower because the shower was on top of the sink and toilet. The water pressure is low and the water hose did not reach far. this was very uncomfortable. For the price we paid I guess it was a descent but the hotel staff need to work on the cleanliness and install phone lines in the rooms. It was very annoying to walk out your room to the front desk to ask for something

Great location. Sheets had stain but overall very clean. We had to pay in cash when we got there so be advised no cards accepted.

Although staff were a little terse, they were helpful and organised boat trips. Bungalow faced the beach, a couple of cafes were close by and it was within easy walking distance of town facilities. Only complaint would be that there was nobody to meet you at the ferry.
