"A comfortable stay, quite basic but does the job."

Room was nice, facilities were good. An overall comfortable stay

The breakfast on day 1 was not good - the food was fine but nearly everything had run out and they were not replenishing stuff in a timely manner. We ordered eggs and it took so long we cancelled them and went without. For £15.95 pp this should be better. Second day was considerably better staffed and fine. The fire alarm went off at 2:45am, there was little to no direction from staff. When we did eventually find a staff member he just shrugged and said false alarm. Just as well. They need to work on their policies should there actually be a fire.

"Good value in a great location"

The location is lovely, the staff were friendly and helpful. The room was clean and tidy. The shower was good. The food in the restaurant was great with a nice selection. Good value for money.

Room was basic and tired. The curtains on the window didn’t meet so light streamed in early. The extra bed had a thin mattress so I could feel the struts underneath.

The spa was excellent and just what I needed after the day of kayaking!

Had not realised we did not have breakfast included, but enjoyed the porridge, even if it was very expensive!

The Shower was powerful and refreshing. The view onto the golf course was just wonderful

Hair on radiator and dust along the shower tray. Toilet roll holder was rusty

The suite had a lovely space and good comfy bed

the interior was a little tired and shabby in a few places. The triangular windows in the room the curtains didn’t meet when unhooked so quite a bit of light let in through them even when ‘closed’
