Hotel Montebello

The hotel is located very closely to metro station. The price was pretty decent for an Oslo hotel. The elevators are spacious and fast. Dining area is open 24/7 with beverages, microwave and toaster available all the time. Room was clean and AC quiet.

The heater was turned on and blasting without the way to tune it down. After talking with the staff the only option left was to open a window. We did, but the window was over hotel's ventilation unit which was very noisy, and the construction site was nearby. So we had to sleep in a hot or loud room. That was the major disappointment for us. The parking is 300kr/hour.

In general terms, all pretty well.

Location far away from city center, but good and cheap transport very close helped (Oslo metro, called T-bane, stop Montebello, 5 mins walking from hotel)

The room was amazing, the bed was comfortable, the staff was nice.

It’s a little far from the city center.

Good value for money. Free tea and coffee at all times.

We weren't told that breakfast ended earlier on weekdays. It was disappointing that we missed it.
