Sugar Loaf Lodge

The property is older and in need of updating. Our room was filthy. The layer of dust built up on the headboard, light fixtures and desk surfaces. Sheets were clean but had old stains. The bathroom faucet had corrosion around it. We checked out early. I expect better conditions for a nightly rate of $299

The setting is very nice. Perfect place to get away from the hustle bustle of Key West. Staff is friendly, place is clean. If your looking for fancy, this is not the place for you though

Older property better than expected. Way overpriced.

Meager amenities no coffee pot no high def cablevery dated decor and spartan accomodations. clean and quiet comfortable bed, but tor the price not a value for the price.

This place on Sugar Loaf Key is located at mile marker 16 and is a fairly short drive to Key West. We were given a lower floor room which looks directly out onto the gulf. The room is starting to look dated but we only used it for an overnight stay. The beds were fairly comfortable.

Wifi not as advertised

Our stay at the sugar loaf was amazing. We only stayed a night to play in key west but it was decent worth it. And don’t miss out on the breakfast sandwiches on the island there.

Not bad for the money. Lodge type rooms, a little outdated and old but clean.Fantastic waterfront view off porch

They should spend some money on renovations, it's stuck in the 70s. Very dated, views are okay from your room but that's all to it. Note!! bathrooms are sticky and not clean. It's not that cheap too.

The rooms were clean, but could use some updating. Location was ideal for my needs. Priced very reasonable for the lower keys and Key West. I will stay here again.
