The Mulburn Inn

The home is stunning. Well decorated and charming. We stayed in the Franklin Pierce room and the bed was incredibly comfortable. Breakfast in the morning was delicious and more than we could eat. Our nine year old daughter was with us and they supplied an extra bed for her in our room. Dave and Karen were so accommodating with her picky eating. We loved our visit and plan to return in the fall.

Beautiful architecture preserved from the early 1900s with an amazing history

Can’t really say there’s anything we didn’t like to be honest. Squeeky floor in our bathroom maybe? But hey, my floors will squeak when I’m 120 years old too.

This is a beautiful place. Very comfortable and wonderful hosts!

The room was spacious, with comfortable chairs for each of us. The bed was divinely comfortable. The room was well-lit. The shower was excellent. The rockers with foot stools on the front porch deserve many hours of use - we wish we had spent more time in them. The whole inn felt full of history, generously comfortable, with many places to hang out. We play piano and liked that one is there. Oh, and the breakfasts are delicious and enough to charge you up for a good portion of the day.

We didn't like leaving.

The location was great, the people were wondering and the breakfast was marvelous!

The street noise was annoying.

Dave was friendly and I loved that he shared inn history & stories with us.

The property is amazing and beautiful. The architecture is really awesome and everything in the house looks original (windows, doors, radiant wall heaters were so beautiful ). Loved the furniture throughout the house and our room. We had a king size bed and a tv, the room was spotless and was very cozy with 2 chairs and a rocking chair. The bed was very comfortable. Dave and Karen took great care of us and upgraded our room and provided us with the best breakfast we have ever had! The breakfast alone is worth $50 a plate, bacon and bread pudding are AMAZING and we were offered seconds but we were too full! Dave and Karen were amazing hosts and we had a great time chatting with them on the deck at night. We have an Airbnb and are picky about where we stay and we recommend this place and can’t wait to go back!
