We stayed for 3 nights and it was a wonderful experience! All the staff were super friendly, helpful, and considerate. We were welcomed by warm green tea and later received a dessert for our farewell. A delicious breakfast was also served every morning that made our stay so special. The room was clean and well-prepared. Their cypress hot tub was enjoyable too. It was also conveniently located just around the corner to a subway station. Staying at the Seikoro was definitely a highlight or our trip, and we would love to stay here again for our next trip to Kyoto!

"A wonderful get away"

Our stay was wonderful. The staff were friendly and helpful. The bathing facilities were accessible and the rooms felt like a truly traditional Japanese experience. Would highly recommend the Japanese dinner and breakfast. The kimonos were also very comfy.

"Seikora Ryokan in Kyoto"

It was one of the most unique experience I’ve had in all my travels. It was like another world. We had dinner & breakfast which were both excellent! The service was wonderful. There was a public bath which was also an enjoyable experience! Overall, it was totally worth the expense
