Seikoro Ryokan

It was a nice experience!! Highly recommend. Location is perfect. Staff was so nice friendly. Slept on tatami beds and they were very comfortable! Food was good as well!

The service was immaculate and all the staff were very hospitable. The Ryokan was also very beautiful and I lost count of the number of photos I took. You will get a personal attendant to your room who will prepare your food and show you the amenities etc and the one I got spoke English quite well. Overall, it is a little pricy but worth it if you want to experience a Ryokan.

this ryokan was absolutely gorgeous and so peaceful. the staff was so sweet and the vibe of the inn was so quiet and zen. the futons were extremely comfortable and the bath was so comfortable. i can’t wait to stay here again!

Beautiful property with kind and helpful staff. We were made to feel very welcome. Breakfast was delicious. We enjoyed using the public bath as well!

The staff and overall experience of staying in this Ryokan was excellent. Although they don’t provide washing and shoe cleaning services, they still went the extra mile to guide me on how to do my own laundry nearby, as well as polish my white shoes after a day’s worth of dirt. My server was great as well, and the evening tea and dessert was a great touch.

Typical old style Japanese Ryokan. Little old (but what can you expect in Kyoto) and they have no laundry services.
