Best Ryokan Experience

Amazing!! Service is incredible and the public baths were clean and had all of the amenities. A wonderful experience!

A wonderful ryokan with a truly welcoming and lovely staff. A great location just steps from the subway and useful bus lines, and about a 15 minute walk from the Gion area. Also has a great little onsen to relax the day away!

Authentic ryokan with service standards one can expect from a ryokan stay. Very centrally situated, within walking distance to shopping district and shrine. Train station is just outside the ryokan and connects to most places of interest in less than 30min.

This ryokan was absolutely stunning. The rooms are large and traditional. The staff service and friendliness were out of this world and second to none. I will definitely be returning.

A brilliant little place, blending tradition and comfort perfectly.

We had a wonderful stay at Seikoro Ryokan. All of the staff were so lovely and friendly and Tomoko who was serving us personally was very thoughtful and considerate, bringing us things we might want without us even asking (e.g. more cream for our coffee). We had the masa set menu for dinner and it was brilliant as well. We felt bad with the old man who helped us with our bags but he was very strong! I think its a family run business and we were sk glad to stay there and meet them all. A truly very authentic Japanese ryokan experience. I would highly recommend it to anyone.

This ryokan felt very authentic and was in a convenient location. The staff was friendly and accommodating.

Our stay at the Seikoro was incredible: starting from the facilities, a traditional and original ryoken building, to our hostess Teru who was SUPER nice with us, explaining and answering our questions, to the staff always friendly and eager to help. Super recommended to everybody who wants a real ryoken experience!
