Hotel Villa Santa Catarina

It was so fun pleasant and comfy the people work there are so kinda, clean it’s so good as well, the food everything definitely make my experience awsome

This property was more than amazing !! It was definitely beyond my expectations. The chef A everything I ate was absolutely Amazing. The location was perfect !!!!!!!! Staff was always cleaning and at night they empty the hot spring and gives it a good cleaning in the morning before guest goes in . I will definitely return !

This was a lovely hotel, very charming with attention to details. The room was really cute with a nice balcony overlooking the pool and lake. The views of the volcanos are great, but there is no direct access to the lake and unless you need to specifically come to Santa Caterina, it's pretty far from Pana and all other attractions. The best feature for me was the hot springs pool behind the main pool area. The food was wonderful as well, the best ceviche I've had. Service in general was good, but the girl at the reception didn't look very happy. One last amazing amenity: check out is at 1PM!!! You get plenty of extra time to enjoy the hotel.

Villa Santa Catarina is a lovely garden property tucked into the middle of a lively town. Wonderful place to relax, with the superb view Atitlán from your own balcony! The dining room is well run, with good food, and a personable staff. Enjoyed my stay, will return.

The staff are amazing! The waiters, gardeners and cleaners couldn’t do any more to make this an excellent stay. The hotel is in a less busy village but a tuk tuk ride of ten mins to the busier Panajachel. This hotel is set in beautiful gardens by Atitlán lake. The pools are a delight. The food was well cooked and professionally served with attention to detail. Tastefully decorated with Guatemalan paintings and objects which reflect the Mayan culture. We will return and thoroughly recommend.

Beautiful grounds, great view of the lake and the volcanoes. We had several breakfasts, one dinner, and some cocktails at the restaurant. The quality was good and the staff very attentive. The natural thermal pool was a big bonus! They drain it at night and refill it each morning, so it was always crystal clear. There are not many dining options in the little town of Santa Caterina. But it is easy to get to and from Panajachel via tuk tuk. Or in the daytime, colectivos run frequently. They are pick-up trucks, just hop in the back and pay the driver when you get off.

This hotel is absolutely beautiful! There is a beautiful pool, a thermal springs hot pool, a game room with pool and ping pong, and gorgeous grounds. The rooms are comfortable and very nice. The dining is nice, but the food is ok. Having said that, the dining in the area, including Panajachel, is only average. Very safe place. It is right by the lake.

I wanted to be away from hustle and hustle of the larger towns and was very happy with this charming and well appointed hotel. The only negative was the weak or non existant WiFi signal. But since i was trying to decompress I guess it worked out.
