Hotel Sant Jordi

Front desk was very helpful. I like the parking spaces, wide and roomy, unlike most hotels in Spain. Front desk spoke very well english so there was no confusion there. Rooms were fine, clean and wifi was good. Quite far from the old city, so a car is very much needed.

Great place for a overnight in Tarragona. Had a great view of med sea from room balcony, with reasonably comfortable and clean accommodations.

The city was very nice and a lot to see. the history and the ruins were very interesting. Overall we spent two full days touring the city and saw it all. The Cathedral is interesting as the rest of the city.

This is a great place. A little outside of town but with a bus stop across the street you are minutes from downtown, old town etc. Close enough to the train station by bus or taxi, This is a very well run place, the owner is greeting you have been so helpful, even helping us with the bus routes, fun places to explore, and even ordering Pizza for us :) The view is fabulous from EVERY ROOM. Croissant and café, fabulous. Beach is just down the street, and they have beach chairs and stuff available on request. If you like older hotels that have been in business for a long time and know how to treat their customers right and don't want to spend a fortune, you are in luck this is your place :)

This hotel was clean and comfortable. Everyone at the desk was kind and hospitable. We just stopped for the night, but would have liked to have stayed longer.

The hotel staff were frightenly attentive and really nothing was too much. The hotel is about 100 metres from the sandy beach with its own cafe/bar/shower and coatal walk as far as Tarragona itself or indeed other beaches round the point. Otherwise there are freqent buses to Roman amphitheatre, forum, and the mediavil cathedral and a lovely compact city tourist area. There is an amazing number of bars and restaurants and we found the whole place friendly and indeed eager to help. There is a direct bus to Barcelona and of course Reus just up the road. The train to Barcelona is fine but there is a change invoved to get to Sitges etc. You could do everthing in 3 days but 10 days allows for trip to theatre etc.

This was a lovely old fashioned Spanish hotel with fantastic views of the ocean. Traditional old fashioned service. The hotel was old but it was in pristine condition. The location was out of the old town but you can catch a bus across the road for €1.45 into town. Only 1 new cafe/restaurant which is located on the beach 5 minute walk. Dinner starts at 8pm but can have lunch, drinks, snacks all day, otherwise you would have to go into the town to eat. Continental breakfast for €5.50 each. Tarragona is a lovely old town, we only stayed for 1 night but wished we had stayed longer, so relaxing. Can hear the ocean from your room. Train line is nearby but trains stop about 10pm. Great value!!!

We had a perfect overnights stay a well positioned hotel safe parking and a great beach cafe that serves very good tapas Shame about the railway it didn't bother us but quite a lot of trains passing the hotel but what a fantastic view we had from our balcony

Bit dated - but clean and lovely view of the sea from the room we had. Simple clean accommodation - very friendly and helpful staff who were clearly proud of Tarragona and what it could offer.

We were making a 1 night stop in Tarragona, on our way to Valencia. This hotel was located about 40 meters from a really nice beach. We had easy and free parking for the car, the room was small with 3 single beds, but for one night that wasn't a problem. Everything was very clean, and since the room was facing the sea, we left the balcony door opened to hear the sound of the wave in the night. This hotel is also close to the old town of Tarragona, so it was easy to drive over there to have dinner and visit the roman sites.
