Hotel Sant Jordi

The customer service at check in was excellent. The condition of the hotel was below usual standard for today. Cramped room. No water. No tea or coffee facilities in the room. These should be basics in every hotel charging these prices. Whilst it’s not the high end of the market it’s also not at the bottom for tariffs. So some bottled water and basic tea and coffee, a small bar fridge or milk sachets - would go a long way toward improvement. These simple additions could be implemented.

Hotel rooms basic but clean and comfortable and some with a sea view. The staff were incredibly friendly and made us feel welcome, nothing was too much trouble. Perfect for a stop over on the family road trip.

decided to try the hotel again. should definitely have taken other option. Too noisy between railraod and main road on the other side. clean but very basic amenities. reception staff is polite but once you have paid no more efforts. It is good to make money but it is good to invest for the benefits of customers...; bathrooms need to be remodelled too expensive for this town very surprised to see so many comments from American when there are none around.....

Stayed for 7 days in July. Hotel easily accessible from Reus Airport and a €35 fixed price taxi ride to the hotel taking approx 25 mins. The hotel is a 30 min walk to the centre. There is a bus stop if you turn left out of the hotel and walk 5 mins and cross the road. There is a beach directly across the road which has a beach bar selling drink and food We thought the hotel was a little isolated but once you find your way around it isn't. There is a restaurant 10 mins walk towards and town and there is a second beach with 2 beach bars and another restaurant. Lots of restaurants in the town centre just go the old town. There is also fantastic Seafood at the fishing village. The hotel public areas have a fantastic 60's feel to it and retains many of it's original features - it is spotlessly clean in all areas. We had a triple room with a sea view balcony and it was plenty big enough for 2 adults and a child. Towels were changed daily and they loaned us towels for the beach with no problem. Room had a safe, and efficient air condtioning. They do not do evening meals but they made us some sandwiches up for the beach at lunch time. Continental breakfast was a quiet joy. Fruit juices, tea, coffee, hot chocolate, yoghurts, pastries and donuts. We were offered omelette but didn't feel the need. Nothing was too much trouble for any of the staff.Always friendly welcoming and helpful.There are no tea or coffee making facilities but we took a travel and took milk up to the room.

Excellent hotel very attentive and helpful. One warning the local beach allowed nudists so not appropriate if you are disagree with this activity or have children with you.

We liked this place> The hotel is very close to the beach and it is clean. People were friendly at the front desk.

Location not at all what we expected!!!

The hotel is greatly located for beach goers - about 200m; and for history buffs - about 20 min walk to the historic center of Tarragona. Great Roman history going back to b.c. timeline.

Nice room with balcony overlooking beach. Clean. very friendly service.

We were only staying 1 night but changed our minds, when we saw the room met the family that runs the place and needed more time to see all the sites. What a wonderful city and hotel.
