Trulli Il Castagno

Zeer vriendelijke eigenaars. We hadden ineens ook een rondleiding in de wijngaard met daarna een maaltijd in de wijngaard met aangepaste wijnen geboekt en dat was zeker de moeite waard. Een aanrader ! Lekkere wijnen en lekker eten in een leuk internationaal gezelschap.

Wij hebben er maar 1 nacht gelogeerd, maar ik kan niet direct iets negatiefs bedenken.

Absolutely stunning place, so privileged to have stayed at a trullo, full of history, surrounded by vineyards and Giorgio and his family have been amazing. The location is in the countryside and very quiet, but not far to explore Alberobello, Locorotondo, Martina Franca. We did drive to Monopoli and Polignano a Mare, that was 40 minute drive; and one hour to Matera. Alberobello is only 15-20 minute away. Highly recommend to try the family produced wine, we did tried every bottle 😂 and quality wine for a very reasonable price. Giorgio was so attentive and if we needed anything, quickly responded and sorted it all. We booked two experiences during our stay- one was dinner with wine tasting and as it was my partners birthday, Giorgio’s mum gave us a masterclass in local pasta making, it was very special! Then we also booked a BBQ picnic in the vineyards, the whole experience, and the hosts, can’t describe really, it’s been the best holiday for us, thanks to Giorgio and his family. There’s a swimming pool you can use, even a washing machine, and we also picked some herbs and cherries from the garden which was a nice touch. We didn’t want to leave, will definitely recommend to book and experience a trullo stay which is much better than touristy Alberobello.

Everything was great; you can’t walk to a restaurant or cafe as have to drive. It didn’t stop us as some evenings we bought food from local markets and quickly made something ourselves which was nice, plus, you can order pizzas to be delivered to the property.

The Trulli house itself was spacious, with a nice outdoor space where you can sit outside and relax. The host was very friendly and helpful. There is a big swimming pool. We could also pick our own cherries on the farm. The farm itself is close to Martina Franca, Locorotondo and Alberobello. We could easily drive our car around to visit other small towns. It was fantastic to enjoy quite evenings outside with a bottle of wine.

Otrolig atmosfär och väldigt mysiga små hus. Jätte hjälpsam personal. Underbart att kunna gå på vinprovning och sedan bo över på ett så magiskt ställe!

L'accueil , l'équipement, l'emplacement , la tranquillité, le charme des lieux ...que dire un séjour très agréable
