AC Hotel Cartagena

Muy limpio el hotel, rapida atencion al cliente por parte del staff, muy bien hubicado, alrededor hay restaurantes, tiendas, barras etc, el aire acondicionado no estuvo muy bueno pero me dieron ventiladores y pudimos descansar esa noche.

Perfect location in Cartagena. The staff was lovely

Bed very comfortable but no doona, bathroom had hair still in bathtub and only one set of toiletries even tho room was booked for 2 people. No conditioner in bottle and Toilet paper not folded. Reception staff was not overly welcoming and rather unhelpful. Wifi not provided and it says on hotel homepage rooms are soundproof but they are not you can hear everything. Overall not too bad stay but was hoping bit better based on all the previous reviews

We thought we’d booked a superior room with a balcony as shown in the picture, this was not the case. Misleading at best. Extremely disappointed and have no doubt we are not the first customers that have been tricked by the pictures. Not good enough. The hotel is rather soulless and lacking in information regarding facilities, dining, bar etc. We had no idea if they even do bfast or food or drink. Liked Cartegena as a destination but on our next visit we’ll be staying elsewhere.

It was a superior room which gave you a terrace with a table and 2 chairs It was a partial sea view The downside is the step up from the room was far too big for me I’m only 5ft 4ins tall It was really hard to do There is enough room on the terrace for 2 sun beds but they were not there the terrace is huge Nice hotel great position. Lovely helpful staff The other downside is no pool and you could really do with one in the summer Overall enjoyed my stay and if I come to Cartagena again I will stay here

Service was outstanding.

Excellent location

Right near the port/water which makes it convenient access by car, highly walkable with city attractions and restaurants/bar right next to it.

room not exactly as seen in the pictures. shampoo bottle not refilled (empty) telephone for room service not working. price above average in the city for a lower service level.

I left my passport in a cab. A member of the staff was instrumental in tracking down the cab driver and helping me to get it returned.
