Teach de Broc

I cannot say enough wonderful things about this hotel. We needed a place closeby for an early tee time at Ballybunion. This far exceeded the expectations I had from booking online. The rooms are spacious, modern, yet warm. The location is fantastic You can walk to the golf course and the beach. It was not a big hotel, but much more than a B&B. Our favorite part was the restaurant, for both breakfast and dinner, and the accompanying bar where we had pre-dinner drinks. Owners Cian and Dermott were a wealth of information, both for the history of the area and helping us to plan our Ring of Kerry drive. We so enoyed their company. On our 2nd and last day, my daughter and I had to wait for husband and son to complete golfing before we could leave. Dermott settled us comfortably in the restaurant area with tea and coffee and we passed a few hours chatting and reading. I could have stayed there all day. It was like being in your own home, but with someone taking care of you! It's a special place. I would go there again, golf or no golf.

Just one night stay on golf trip from Texas. Absolutely fabulous! Keon and Dermot kept us entertained, rooms large and very comfortable. Evening meal out of this world. A must stay if in Ballybunnion.

Having dined in the restaurant on many occasions for some reason this time I needed to write a review, from the moment we arrived, our visit to Teach de Broc was an excellent experience! I didn’t have a starter this time, but, the main course was the best I’ve had in a very long time, wild sea trout, and as for the desert orgasmic to say the least! A beautiful evening with a great Friend! Thank You!
