Fundy Rocks Motel and Chocolate River Cottages

In our room we killed flies. Grasshoppers. 6 spiders 🕷 . Bees 🐝. I wouldn't recommend tis place to anybody. The wifi sucked. It's not high speed. Tv sucked 😒. The restaurant on the others hand was ok . The food was great and the service.

The condition of this property is unkept and aging. Also, your site advertised free wifi but there was none. When I discussed this with the owner and explained the signal strength was good but I was getting a message that there was no internet service, he refused to believe that the issue was on his end and insisted I was the problem even though my computer would work through the data on my phone. My phone is a work phone and I only have limited data so can't use much of it. I explained all he had to do was call his internet provider or reboot the modem/booster but he continued to insist it was not his problem. The guests beside me also said they were having wifi issues. No action was taken to resolve the problem and ensure his guests were satisfied.

This motel is right on the water. The cottage we stayed at had a full kitchen and a deck facing the water. It was quiet and we were able to build a fire in the fire pit. It is certainly dated. But it did the job and was roomy. The owners were nice.

Small motel close to hopewell rocks , property needs some maintenance and overall cleaning . Rooms are very outdated (carpet floors ) smells dusty and mildew. Overpriced for the state of property

The rooms smelled musty, the walls and ceiling fan had cob webs and dirt on them but the staff were very kind and helpful

Meh. This place wasn’t great. I just wanted a place to sleep, so I guess I can’t complain too much. Something just felt off. The towels were all dark brown, so I couldn’t actually see if they were clean. The food at the restaurant was very overpriced and a worker admitted the lobster wasn’t even from Fundy, so I assume nothing is fresh. The worker I spoke with was nice. The wifi was actually bad. Like barely let me do much of anything. If you can find a better place to stay, do it. This was overpriced for what I got.

It was close to Hopewell Rocks

It was an updated motel and we were comfortable. The restaurant makes homemade bread and We were glad to be able to get breakfast and a link arrival grilled cheese sandwich. There are cabins on the property and pool, which overlook the river however we were in the motel spaces that faced the road. Road was quiet through the night.
